A group of teenagers witness a tragedy when a young injured alien gives them an incredible power beyond comprehension, hoping they will use it to save Earth from an invasion.

The Animorphs fall into a trap when the Yeerks gain possession of Elfangor's disc. Confused by it himself, Visser Three decides instead to barter with it, with one of the Animorphs posing as an Andalite to try and get it back.

Rachel tries to save Principal Chapman and his daughter, Melissa, a friend of hers, from Yeerk possession. She ends up stuck in a cat "morph" - as the Chapmans' family pet. Meanwhile Tobias copes with being stuck in his bird "morph".

Cassie and Tobias receive a different thought-speak, and suspect that there is another Andalite on Earth. Visser Three has also received wind of this other so-called Andalite, and it is a race between the Yeerks and the Animorphs to see who gets to the Andalite first.

The Animorphs discover that a certain type of oatmeal is a stimulant to the Yeerks, and they are unable to control their hosts' actions. However, the usage of this "drug" also affects the hosts, but the Animorphs know they must use this advantage to inflict some serious damage upon the Yeerk pool.

Ax, unfamiliar to his new surroundings on Earth, tries to fit in with his new friends. After making the mistake of trusting humans with technology, he must fix his error by Andalite code, and fight Visser Three alone.

Jake discovers that a man working on his father's new health and wellness center is none other than Visser Three, who wants to use the center as a Yeerk pool to trap the provincial Governor. Jake falls into the Yeerk pool while undercover.

A harrowing mental battle takes place when poor Jake is discovered to be possessed by a cruel Yeerk. His friends hold out hope, but find that they can no longer trust anything he says.

Cassie is invited to a popular TV talk show after saving a young boy from a crocodile at a zoo. The show's attractive male pop star is using his stage presence to endorse The Sharing - and Cassie can't control her 'croc "morph".

While Rachel is struggling to decide if she wants to move away with her father, Visser Three sets a cunning trap. He captures Ax and lures in the rest of the Animorphs. When it all looks hopeless, a mystical figure, the Ellimist, offers the Animorphs a dangerous choice.

Rachel's amnesia causes her to forget everything she knows, including everything about being an Animorph, and the battle against the Yeerks. She unknowingly wanders into a human-Controller infested area and is about to be taken by the Yeerks. Marco, Jake, and Cassie have to not only save her, but restore her memory.

Marco uncovers a horrible secret about his mother, who supposedly died in an accident a couple of years ago, while working with Jake to locate Visser One at the EGS Tower.

Cassie and Rachel are able to break the Kandrona, and escape to Cassie's barn. Marco, very reluctantly, and Jake find a way to escape the Yeerk Mother ship. They hijack a Yeerk blade ship, and with the aid of Ax, they are guided back to Earth. Now the Animorphs discover that a new enemy has been revealed.

Ax has created a device that allows an individual to relive their most cherished memories. Tobias uses it to relive his pre-Animorph life. He relives meeting Rachel and first acquiring animal DNA. Likewise, Ax gets a taste of reliving his days. Tobias remembers how awkward Ax was at first when he became human.

S1 • E17
Jake wishes that he had never met Elfangor. Unfortunately, his wish gets granted, and the group goes back to a time where they never met him, except Tobias. Now, all of the former Animorphs get infested by Yeerks, and Tobias must find a way to avoid being infested next.

S1 • E18
The Animorphs gain a new and unexpected ally - Mr. Perkins, a science teacher formerly possessed by a Yeerk who now wants to save others from the same fate, including Jake's older brother, Tom.

At the basketball final, the Animorphs discover that all of their enemies will be in one place, so they must be cunning in their tactics. However, a plan goes horribly wrong as Jake is trapped. The Animorphs must now split up to find the disk and free Jake!

S1 • E20
The Animorphs are separated from each other with enemies everywhere. Rachel may have saved Tobias, but Jake is still in Tom's clutches. The remaining Animorphs are close to being infested by the Yeerks. While dodging Yeerks, they have to rescue Jake as well.
