Li Haichao is a restaurant owner who has a daughter. His wife passed away and he is dating with He Mei; The Lings are Li's new neighbor and they are having family issues because of the death of their daughter.

Episode #1.2

Chen left and Ling has to raise Xiao alone; Mei left Ziqiu to Li and disappeared; Three broken families formed up and lived happily for years; Jianjian went to high school and she helped a girl with her brothers while going to school.

Episode #1.3

Jianjian has a bad grade after entering high school and she became a good friend of Qi Mingyue; Qi was attracted by Ziqiu while hanging out with him; Chen came back and went to see Xiao.

Episode #1.4

Xiao refused to forgive Chen; Ziqiu wanted to ask her mother about the reason of abandoning him; Xiao's grandma brought Meiyang Qin to Xiao who is his sister with a different dad.

Episode #1.5

Xiao spent some time with Meiyang; He Lan came to Ziqiu's birthday party and was trying to convince Ziqiu that he's an outsider and that made Li angry; Meiyang was trying to push Jianjian while looking for Xiao but fell down herself.

Chen and Meiyang went back to Singapore; Jianjian won prize in the wood carving competition; Ziqiu's birth-father came back and was trying to rebuild the relationship with him; Jianjian had a new classmate called Tang Can.

After an expensive gift from his estranged father, He Ziqiu refuses to accept him as rumors spread at school. When his father tries to take him abroad, his adoptive family stands firm, and Ziqiu chooses loyalty and love over blood ties.
