This series takes place at the isolated village of Kolokotronitsi, a place where life has stuck some decades ago. When Hara, a young woman from Athens comes to the village and opens a cafe, a conflict occurs between her and the totally conservative mayor, Periandros, who doesn't want the ideals and ethic of his village to be destroyed. On the 4th season the series concentrates in the love of Hara's daughter and Periandros' son and the opening of the new cafe.

Under the guidance of Periandros, the village decides to drive her out due to her inappropriate behavior with the outsider. No one is willing to provide her with food to survive, except for Periandros' sister, Stavroula.

Periandros Popotas takes drastic steps to expel Chara from the village, cutting off her water and electricity. As others in the village sabotage her, Chara confronts him, realizing the truth about his actions.

The day of the grand opening arrives. Periandros announces that he will grant Chara the permit, as he has finally understood that her café is a respectable place, especially since she is raising a child on her own.

After the scandal with the Russians, the villagers refuse to even step outside of Chara's café. Exhausted, she decides to sell it and return to Athens. However, little Valia is opposed and refuses to leave.

Chara asks for help from Father Triantafyllos. He visits the café, which fascinates Periandros and draws attention to the relationships of the Kolokotronitsi Church and its cultural activities.

Tasia and Stavroula, after the outburst, seek refuge with Periandros. Periandros offers shelter to Stavroula but sends Tasia away. Stavroula tries to reunite with Fatsea, but the chaos resumes, and she is once again caught at Chara's café.

The traditional dance at Vangelis' café is set to happen at the Athens banquet hall. There, after Chara's invitation, Periandros will dance with her to a song that will have a significant impact on him.
