Aarti recollects the moments spent with her ex-husband Prashant and for a moment imagines him to be around her. Aarti gets irritated when she finds a petal of flower entangled in her hair and curses the person who showered flowers on her instead of the bride and groom. Pratik enquires with Yash about the girl on whom he mistakenly showered flowers. He jokingly asks Yash if he liked the girl much to Yash's displeasure Vidhi shows some photographs of prospective brides and asks Yash to select one. When Yash refuses to select any girl to get remarried, Vidhi tries to convince him. Yash's aunt, who is a widow, overhears their conversation. She feels upset as the family wanted Yash to remarry but none ever considered remarriage for her. Yash, however, is firm on his decision and states that nobody would ever take his wife, Arpita's position in his life. Arpita had died three years back. Meanwhile, Shobha tries to convince Aarti to get remarried for the sake of her son Ansh. Aarti refuses to get remarried and states that she was capable of taking care of Ansh all by herself and did not need anybody's support. Meanwhile, Yash's mother Amma too tries to convince him to consider remarriage for the sake of his daughters. She tries to explain to him how growing daughters needed a mother to share their joys and worries. Shobha continues to convince Aarti by stating that Ansh everyday wrote a letter to his father with the hope that his father would fulfill his demands. Aarti states that she fulfilled all of Ansh's demands. However, Shobha points out that Ansh was living with a false hope that one day his father would come to meet him. She asks Aarti to think about the day Ansh would realize that she lied to him about his father. Aarti, however, refuses to relent and states that she was happy with her son and would continue to fulfill all his demands and be a mother and father to him. Yash is left in a dilemma and is unable to decide whether to remarry or remain single. He believes that he would never be able to accept any other woman as his wife. Yash is also worried whether the woman he remarries would ever become an able mother to his daughters and take care of them.

Satyendra returns home and decides to send Aarti's photograph to the Scindia family. Shobha does not agree with Satyendra's decision of not informing Yash's mother, Gayatri that Aarti was a divorcee. While proposing marriage to Aarti on behalf of Yash, Gayatri had made it clear that she would get her son married to a widow but would never accept a divorcee. Gayatri is unaware about Aarti's past. Satyendra tries to convince Shobha by stating that after Prashant divorced Aarti, they supported Aarti, instead of their son. He tells Shobha that Prashant would neither realize his mistake nor would return home. He reminds her about the difficulties that they had to face after Prashant deserted them. Satyendra adds that he wants to see Aarti and Ansh happy and so he has taken such a decision. He also asks Shobha to talk to Aarti about the proposal. Shobha, however, is unconvinced with Satyendra's decision. Meanwhile, Aarti arrives. Scindia family, except Yash, discusses about Aarti's proposal for Yash. Gayatri convinces her husband to accept the proposal as she believes that Aarti can take care of Palak and Payal after the marriage. Pankaj requests his father to talk to Yash about it. Yash's father summons him and tries to convince him to get remarried. He informs Yash about Aarti's proposal. He also asserts that he wants Yash to accept the proposal. Before leaving, Yash's father keeps Aarti's photograph on the table but Yash does not look at it. Shobha informs Aarti about Yash's proposal and tries to convince her to meet him. Shobha rejoices when Aarti states that she would give a thought to the proposal. Pankaj is happy on learning that Yash has agreed to get remarried. Pankaj expresses his happiness to Yash. Yash tells Pankaj that, however, he still loves Arpita and would never forget her. Shobha is shocked on learning that the Scindia family has refused to accept Ansh. Shobha does not agree and asks Satyendra to reject the proposal. She believes that Aarti would never accept the proposal, if she learns about it. Aarti feels upset when she overhears their conversation.

Aarti feels upset when she overhears their conversation. Satyendra and Shobha get shocked when they see Aarti. A furious Aarti rejects Yash's proposal as she does not want to separate from Ansh. She questions Shobha on how she could even think of accepting Scindia family's demand. Aarti threatens to commit suicide, if Shobha and Satyendra tried to separate her from Ansh. Shobha tries to pacify Aarti but fails. After Aarti leaves, Shobha decides to call up Gayatri and reject Yash's proposal. Gayatri informs her husband that she has told Satyendra that they would not accept Ansh. Yash overhears their conversation. Meanwhile, Shobha calls up Gayatri. Gayatri receives the call and does not realize that the call is connected. At that time, Yash tells his father that he would not marry the woman who agrees to separate from her son. He explains that the woman who can separate from her own biological child will never be able to take care of her step-daughters. Yash's father too agrees and states that they would accept both the Aarti and her son. Shobha overhears their conversation and gets surprised. After Yash leaves, Gayatri informs Shobha about her husband's decision. She also accepts the alliance and asks Shobha to select a mahurat. Gayatri, however, is unconvinced with her husband's decision. Her husband tries to convince her saying that they would do a favor on Aarti by accepting Ansh and thus that she never went against them and always danced to their tunes. After overhearing Yash's conversation, Shobha believes that Yash was a well cultured person and would take care of Aarti and Ansh. Shobha, however, is worried and does not have the to convince Aarti to accept the proposal. Next morning, Shobha writes a letter to Aarti to apologize to her as well as convince her. Aarti reads the letter, which informs her about Yash's father's decision. Aarti is on her way to drop Ansh to the school. Yash, who is in his car, is also on the same road. Aarti rides her scooty behind Yash's car but is unaware about Yash. Ansh is getting late for his school and so Aarti continuously blows the horn.

Ansh's school organizes a sports day for parents. Aarti decides to participate in the three-legged race along with Ansh. Aarti has to compete with the fathers of other children. When Ansh's teacher refuses to enroll Aarti's name at first, she convinces him. She tells him that she would participate as Ansh does not have a father. When Aarti enrolls her name, the other competitors pass comments on her. They state that a woman was challenging them. They also underestimate Aarti and state that she can never complete the race. Aarti overhears their conversation and gets furious. Meanwhile, Mansi arrives and overhears the conversation. She encourages Aarti to participate in the race. During the event, Aarti and Ansh start off well but in the middle of the race, Aarti trips over her dupatta and falls down. Meanwhile, the other competitors move ahead. Aarti somehow manages to get up and complete the race but does not win. Ansh blames Aarti for losing the race. Aarti apologizes to him but an upset Ansha walks away. The other competitors, who had passed comments on Aarti, taunt her again saying that she should not compete with men in the future. Pratik calls up their assistant, Shukla and asks him to make special arrangements for his and Yash's wedding. Pratik's aunt overhears his conversation and gets furious. Vidhi gives credit to Pratik for convincing Yash. She teases Pratik as he would soon get married since Yash had agreed to get remarried. Pratik had vowed that he would not marry until Yash gets married again. Yash recollects Gayatri's advice to get remarried as Palak and Payal needed a mother to take care of them. On the other hand, Aarti also recollects Shobha's advice to get remarried as Ansh needs a father, who will take care of him in the future. Aarti doubts whether Yash would accept Ansh and take his responsibility. Yash, on the other hand, is keener on a loving mother to his two daughters than a companion for him.

Mansi tries to convince Aarti to get remarried. She also tries to make Aarti understand that Prashant would never return to her life. She requests Aarti to accept Yash's proposal for the sake of Ansh's happiness. On the other hand, Yash is also worried about his daughter. Shobha and Satyendra are surprised when Aarti accepts Yash's proposal. Shobha shares her happiness with Aarti and decides to distribute sweets. Meanwhile, someone calls up on Aarti's landline number. Aarti is taken aback when she receives the call and hears the voice. Shobha gets worried when she notices Aarti and therefore picks up the phone receiver. Shobha is shocked when she hears her son Prashant at the other end. Satyendra too is shocked. With a heavy heart, Shobha sternly questions Prashant why he called them up. When Prashant expresses desire to talk to Satyendra, Shobha does not allow him and instead tells him not to call them up in future. She states that they have broken all ties with him after he divorced Aarti and deserted them. Prashant is surprised when Shobha informs him that they have decided to get Aarti remarried. Later, Aarti misses Prashant and cries inconsolably. Shobha tries to pacify Aarti and advises her to forget Prashant. Aarti refuses to forget Prashant and confesses that she still loves him.

Shobha asks Aarti to move on in life and forget Prashant. She states that Prashant does not care whether they were dead or alive. Aarti gets upset and makes Shobha promise her that she would never speak about their death in the future. Shobha too makes Aarti promise that she would forget Prashant and accept Yash's marriage proposal. Palak and Payal share their apprehension with Yash. Payal tells Yash that Palak fears that their step-mother would ill-treat them. Ansh tells Aarti that he is upset with her as she has not fulfilled his wish. Aarti and Shobha get apprehensive when Ansh asks her when he would meet his father. Aarti begins to cry on hearing Ansh's statement. Shobha smartly handles the situation and tells Ansh that very soon he would meet his father. An excited Ansh naively asks Shobha what was his father's name. Shobha replies that his father's name was Yash Scindia. Aarti gets stunned on hearing it. Satyendra tells Yash's father that they must perform the roka ceremony without further delay. Yash's father tells Satyendra that he would confirm the date with the pundit and inform him. Gayatri who is angry at her family for accepting Aarti's condition to accept her son Ansh after marriage gets upset hearing about the progress in the alliance. Yash's father asks Gayatri not to broach the topic in front of Yash as he fears that his son may back out from marrying Aarti. He states that he would not spare her if such behavior was repeated. Yash's father decides to hold Prateik and Paridhi's wedding along with Yash and Aarti's wedding. Prateik, who overhears their conversation, gets elated. Without wasting time, Prateik informs Paridhi about their marriage. Paridhi expresses her excitement to Prateik.

Aarti meets Mansi and informs her that she has accepted Yash's marriage proposal. She is scared about her future with Yash as she believes that two individuals cannot live together if they do not love each other. Instead of pacifying Aarti, Mansi tells her that a relationship can only work if they was physical intimacy between the partners. Aarti disagrees with Mansi. When Aarti arrives home, Shobha and Satyendra inform her that the Scindia family would be coming the following day for roka and engagement ceremony. The duo also shows Aarti the ring which they purchased for Yash. Aarti does not seem too interested in the ring At the Scindia household, Gayatri too shows Yash the ring which she selected for Aarti. Yash too merely looks at the ring with disinterest. Shobha and Satyendra are apprehensive as they do not want the Scindias to know that Aarti was divorcee and not a widow. Aarti, who hears a part of their conversation, asks Shobha and Satyendra why they were worried. Satyendra smartly handles the situation and tells Aarti that he accidentally brought the wrong box of sweets from the vendor. Aarti decides to call the vendor and exchange the box. Shobha fears that if Aarti phones the vendor, she may learn that she and Satyendra were lying to her. Just then Mansi enters the house and disconnects the call. She tells Aarti that she would not allow her to work as it was her engagement day. Shobha and Satyendra are apprehensive as they fear that Aarti may inadvertently inform Yash about her divorce during the engagement ceremony.

Yash's father gets upset at Gayatri for misplacing the engagement ring. Vidhi handles the situation by showing Yash's father a spare ring she had. Yash's father checks the ring and decides that to give Aarti the ring. When Gayatri checks the ring, she begins to complain saying that the ring may not fit Aarti. Yash's father believes that if Gayatri had not misplaced the ring, they would not be in this situation. Mansi, who is excited about Aarti's marriage, decks her up. She teases Aarti by stating that Yash would definitely get mesmerized with her beauty. At the Scindia household, Yash continues with his business matters over the telephone. His brothers mock at him for being more interested in decorating someone's marriage hall when he had to leave for his own engagement. Mansi gets excited when the Scindia family arrives at the Dubey household. She asks Aarti to come out with her. Aarti makes an excuse to avoid going out. Mansi tries to cheer Aarti and tells her that she was looking good and she must not get scared. Vidhi requests Shobha to bring Aarti. Shobha asks Mansi to bring Aarti downstairs. Yash feels uneasy as Aarti enters the room. Yash tries his best not to look at Aarti but he gets distracted due to the flickering light reflecting from Aarti's dress. Mansi notices Yash and teasingly tells Aarti that he was getting desperate to see his to-be wife. Shobha introduces Aarti to Yash's father and Gayatri. She then introduces Aarti and Yash. Both Yash and Aarti do not look at each other.

Mansi finds Aarti upset and tries to pacify her. She also tries to convince Aarti to forget her past and accept Yash wholeheartedly. Meanwhile, Gayatri requests Shobha to allow Aarti to talk to Yash in personal. Shobha is about to refuse Gayatri but Satyendra stops her. Aarti gets scared when Satyendra grants the permission and asks her to go along with Yash in the lawn. Yash follows Aarti in the lawn but the duo does not speak to each other. Later, Shobha arrives and calls them inside the house for the engagement ceremony. After Yash leaves, Shobha finds Aarti upset and asks the reason. Aarti does not reply and leaves. During the engagement ceremony, Aarti recollects Mansi's words that a relationship can only work if there was physical intimacy between the partners. Before Aarti could make Yash wear the ring, it slips from her hand. Shobha tries to pacify Aarti but she leaves.

Mansi follows Aarti to her room. Instead of pacifying Aarti, Mansi tells her that Yash is a flirt and asks her to accept the reality. Shobha tries to make the Scindia family understand Aarti's plight. She states that it would take some time for Aarti to forget her past and accept Yash. Shobha apologizes to the Scindia family on behalf of Aarti. Shobha tries to convince Aarti to accept Yash's proposal for the sake of Ansh. Aarti recollects the incident wherein Ansh had thanked her for accepting the proposal. Aarti agrees to go ahead with the engagement and comes downstairs. The families rejoice when Aarti and Yash exchange rings. After the ceremony, Vidhi enquires with Aarti about Ansh. At that time Ansh returns home from the school. He enquires with Shobha about his father to-be. Ansh rejoices when Shobha introduces him to Yash. Ansh greets Yash with a hi-fi. Ansh tells Yash that he used to write letters to his earlier father too. He adds that he would also write letters to Yash. Gayatri intervenes and asks Ansh to wash his hands and freshen up as he had just returned from school. Ansh wipes his hands to his shirt and tells Gayatri that his hands were clean. Aarti feels awkward with Ansh's behavior.

Shobha introduces Ansh to Gayatri and Mr Scindia and asks him to seek their blessings. When Yash and Aarti were asked to speak to each other in private soon after the engagement ceremony, Yash had seen an insect on Aarti's waist. He feared the insect may bite Aarti and so he tried to blow it off. While doing so, Yash happened to touch Aarti's waist. Aarti, however, misunderstood him. After the Scindia family leaves, Mansi finds Aarti tensed. Instead of pacifying Aarti, Mansi tells her to accept Yash and states that all men were flirtatious by nature. She adds that Yash had tried to get close to her by touching her waist. Yash, on the other hand, fears that Aarti must have misunderstood him and so decides to clear the matter. He calls up the Dubey residence and expresses desire to meet Aarti immediately. At that time, he is opposite a certain Caf Delight and asks Shobha to tell Aarti to meet him there. Yash enters Caf Delight but gets uncomfortable with the ambience at the caf . He sees couples cozying up and realizes that the place was not a family restaurant but probably a pick-up joint. He decides to call up Aarti immediately and stop her from entering the caf . However, Aarti reaches before Yash can call her. She too gets uncomfortable with the surroundings and gets furious at Yash for calling her there. Unfortunately for Yash and Aarti, before they could leave, the police raid the caf . The police round up Aarti and Yash too inspite of them pleading innocence. Aarti gets scared and requests the inspector to let her go. The inspector rudely asks Aarti how much she charged Yash for her company. Yash gets furious and asks the inspector to behave. The police, however, arrest Aarti and Yash much to their fury and embarrassment.

Aarti and Yash are handcuffed on their way to the police station. Yash asks a person sitting besides him for his cell phone. He sends a SMS to his father and informs him about the matter. Soon after, the police inspector receives a call from an influential person who asks him to set Yash and Aarti free. The inspector gets scared on learning about Yash's identity and so releases the duo. The inspector also hands over Yash's cell phone to him. Aarti requests the inspector to drop her home but Yash offers to help her. After the police leaves, Aarti refuses to accept Yash's help and decides to go home alone. Aarti is furious at Yash as she doubts his intentions behind getting married to her. Paridi wishes to thank Yash as because of him she can get married to Pratik. She shares her wish with Pratik. Pratik had vowed not to marry until Yash agrees to get remarried. When Aarti leaves, it starts thundering. Yash gets worried wondering how Aarti would travel home alone and tries to stop her. Aarti again misunderstands Yash and decides to teach him a lesson. Aarti and Yash both want to clear out their intentions behind getting married to each other but fail. Yash comes to drop Aarti home. After Yash leaves, Aarti tells Mansi that she has agreed to marry Yash for the sake of Ansh and that she does not expect anything else from him. Instead of pacifying Aarti, Mansi tries to instigate her against Yash. She suspects that Yash was more interested in getting close to Aarti and so he had come to drop her home. At that time, Shobha arrives and stops Mansi. She warns Mansi not to create misunderstandings between Aarti and Yash. Shobha tells Mansi that Yash was a well cultured person and so he had come to drop Aarti. Yash wishes to marry Aarti only for the sake of his daughters. Aarti too wishes to marry Yash only for the sake of Ansh. Later Aarti gets worried when she recollects Mansi's suspicions. Aarti, however, is determined to get remarried to Yash for the sake of Ansh's happiness.

Gayatri calls up Shobha and informs her that they have selected a mahurat for Yash and Aarti's wedding. Shobha gets shocked when Gayatri tells her the date. After Shobha disconnects the call, Satyendra finds her perturbed and asks the reason. Satyendra too gets shocked when he learns that Gayatri has decided to get Aarti and Yash married on April 2. Shobha is worried how they would convince Aarti to get married on that fateful day. Yash is worried that Aarti must have misunderstood him as he had called her to meet him at Caf Delight, which was a pick-up joint. On the other hand, Mansi hands over a phone to Aarti and asks her to confront Yash. Aarti, however, refuses to confront Yash for the sake of Ansh's happiness. Yash decides to call up Aarti and clear out his intentions behind getting married to her but he changes his mind as it was too late at night. Next morning, Mr Scindia informs his manager that Pratik had booked a luxurious resort for his and Yash's weddings. Mr Scindia asks the manager to make grand arrangements for the weddings. Meanwhile, Yash's aunt overhears their conversation. Palak and Payal feel lonely as the family is busy making arrangements for the weddings. The duo complains to Pratik about it. Pratik assures to convince Yash to take the duo for shopping. Vidhi, Pratik, Yash, Prashant, Payal and Pakal go to a shopping mall. On learning that Pratik has asked Paridi to accompany them, Vidhi suggests to call Aarti as well. Yash, however, does not agree with Vidhi. Aarti and Ansh are also present in the same mall but are unaware about Yash's family. Yash and his family too do not see Aarti. Yash decides to take his daughters to the gaming zone. Aarti too takes Ansh to the gaming zone. Incidentally, Aarti and Ansh and Yash, Palak and Payal climb parallel escalators.

Yash enjoys with Palak and Payal in the gaming zone of the shopping mall. He receives a call from his client and so excuses himself. At that time, Aarti, who is also present in the same gaming zone with Ansh, goes to buy popcorn for Ansh. While returning, Aarti accidentally dashes with Yash outside the gaming zone. The duo is left surprised to see each other. At that time, Pratik, Paridi, Vidhi and Prashant, who were also shopping in the mall, see the duo but decide not to disturb them. At the gaming zone, Ansh and Palak get into fight over a trivial matter. Ansh threatens to complain to his new father about Palak, while she threatens to complain about Ansh to her father. Aarti gets worried when she sees Ansh fighting and so rushes inside. Ansh complains to Aarti about Palak. He is surprised to see Yash and complains to him too. Palak and Payal get angry at Ansh and accuse him of lying. They claim that Yash was their father. Aarti is surprised to learn that Palak and Payal were Yash's daughters. Aarti pacifies Palak and Payal and makes them understand that Yash would soon become Ansh's father too. She also makes them understand that she would be their new mother. Paridi's parents, Mr and Mrs Khanna visit Scindia Residence. The couple brings shagun for Pratik and Paridi's wedding. Mr Scindia and Gayatri get furious when Mr Khanna gifts a bottle of champagne to Pratik. While leaving from the mall, Aarti receives Mansi's call. Mansi is surprised on learning that Aarti was with Yash and his daughters. Meanwhile, Yash and the children go to some shop outside the mall. Mansi asks Aarti to confront Yash regarding his intentions behind getting married to her. Aarti, however, does not agree and disconnects the call. While heading towards Yash and their children, Aarti is about to fall into an open manhole but Yash saves her.

Aarti and Ansh are returning home from the shopping mall when Aarti's scooty breaks down. She gets worried as she is unable to restart it. After seeing Mr Khanna's overfriendly behavior with his daughter, Gayatri fears that Paridhi may even transform Pratik's behavior after their wedding. She fears that Pratik too may become a hen Ansh is surprised when he sees Yash and informs Aarti about him. Ansh is sure that Yash would help Aarti to restart the scooty. Satyendra asks Shobha to inform Aarti about her wedding date, which is April 2. Meanwhile, Vidhi visits the Dubey Residence and gives shagun for Aarti and Yash's wedding. Ansh feels happy when Yash helps Aarti and restarts her scooty. When Aarti and Ansh return home, they are surprised to see the gift boxes. Ansh gets happy as he believes that Yash had sent gifts for him. Aarti is left shocked when she sees the wedding card. She gets shocked on learning that her marriage was fixed on April 2, which was her and Prashant's wedding anniversary. Shobha sees Aarti and tries to pacify her. She requests Aarti to forget her past and start a new life with Yash.

She rips off Aarti and Prashant's wedding card and requests Aarti to forget her past and start a new life with Yash. At night, Satyendra asks Shobha to make all arrangements as they had to leave for the wedding venue the following day for pre-wedding functions. Next morning, before leaving for the venue, Shobha tells Satyendra to inform Aarti that they had told Scindia family that she was a widow and not a divorcee. Satyendra is about to reveal the truth to Aarti when Mansi arrives. She asks Aarti to hurry up as Ansh was waiting for her in the car. Aarti asks Mansi to excuse her as Satyendra had to speak something important to her. Mansi, however, compels Aarti to follow her. After Aarti leaves, Shobha decides to reveal the truth to Aarti at the venue. Mr Scindia calls up Pankaj and informs him that Paridi and Aarti's family would soon reach the venue. He also summons Pankaj to the venue. When Pratik learns about it, he expresses desire to accompany Pankaj. Pankaj, however, refuses to take Pratik along with him as he fears that Gayatri may not tolerate it. Aarti comes to the venue along with Satyendra, Shobha, Ansh and Mansi. Paridi arrives with her family and a number of relatives and friends. Aarti feels sad, when Yash's aunt insults her family by questioning them why none of their relatives had accompanied them.
