An American adaptation of the Japanese animated series "GoShogun" and "Aku Dai Sakusen". Two parallel universes start interacting. The tyrant Dark Star and his organization GRIP start invading Earth and its surrounding areas, while Dark Star's cyborg subordinate Orn acts as a regent in their original universe. The main force of the heroic organization Macron 1 defends the Earth in this war. The sub-group known as the "Beta Command" is based in the other universe and is struggling to depose Orn.

In a distant future, Dark-Star and his malevolent forces wage war for Earth's control, opposed by Dr. James Shegall and his team of warriors, Macron-1. Their battle intensifies when Dark-Star plots to incite internal conflict among Earth's inhabitants. Meanwhile, Dr. William Bridger, a celebrated scientist holding vital information for Earth's defense, becomes a target. Bridger's unexpected disappearance leaves his son, Nathan, to inherit the responsibility of safeguarding Hugo, a computer infused with Bridger's knowledge. Macron Base, a teleportation ship pivotal in combating GRIP's tyranny. It delves into Nathan's struggle with loss and his unique bond with his father, maintained through dreams and interactions with Hugo. The narrative culminates in a gripping battle where Macron-1 team confronts GRIP's Skeletrons, showcasing their unity and determination to protect Earth.

Earth's water resources are at risk from Dark Star's latest creation, the Annihilator.
