The fraudulent coach Artyom crosses the path of an influential businessman. The guy is forced to pretend to be a savage and hide in the forest until a couple of mushroom pickers find him. Artyom hopes for help and a new life, but instead he is taken to a closed community run by a stern Batya.

Artyom's first day on the Farm. Batya introduces the guy to the locals, talks about everyday life. After a while, Artyom accidentally hears a secret conversation between Grisha and Milana, who are plotting bad things against Batya.

Lada learns Artyom's secret, but does not reveal it. Batya goes to the city on business and leaves Boeslav in charge. Lada gets injured while collecting honey, Artyom decides to help the girl, risking revealing himself.
