The sibling rivalry ramps up a gear as Stephen's ex (and the family lawyer) Alison reveals the contents of Laurie's will. The pub is in debt, Andrew has been left a share in the business and Ellen decides to join the church.

Footfall is down at the pub, Andrew enlists the help of Cass to sex up the place and attract a new, younger clientele by getting rid of Stephen's refurb. As the glowing TripAdvisor reviews flood in Stephen's suspicions grow.

The foster-brothers are visiting the pub's suppliers and spreading news of Laurie's death. In trying to help Stephen get over Alison, Andrew reveals a shocking truth. Geoff has been left in charge of the pub and takes it back to the 70s.
