When the Lone Ranger and Tonto visit Yellowstone lake, they learn that Dr. Umpeer is exploiting the geysers with machines invented by Bartholomew Spark and forcing everyone crossing the territory to pay a hefty toll.

Borge, who claims to be an decedent of Coronado, is following in his footsteps and searching for El Dorado in New Mexico. The Lone Ranger and Tonto are investigating mysterious disappearances in the area.

Dan Reid is representing the San Francisco Dispatch newspaper in a balloon race. One of his opponents is Miss Nellie Bly for the New York World. But the racers are subject to sabotage from start to finish.

President Grant is heading to Promontory, Utah to witness the completion of the Transcontinental Railroad. The Lone Ranger and Tonto are contacted by the secret service to stop the Baron, a criminal who seeks revenge on the President.

While searching for a bank robber named John Williams, the Lone Ranger disguises himself as "Mack Finch" and joins a group of lumberjacks near the Columbia River. A Bounty Hunter is also on William's trail.

The Clancey family is thrown off their own land by the Sheriff of Prairieville, Texas, who is in cahoots with the Ross Oil Company. The Lone Ranger disguises himself as a roughneck named 'Joe Foyle' to investigate the matter.

Mark Twain's manuscript for "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" is stolen and held for ransom. The Lone Ranger and Tonto help to deliver the ransom money and try to catch the robber red-handed.

Claimjumper Sam Pope hears about the Lone Ranger's hidden silver mine and decides to claim it for himself. He enlists the help of an old prospector named Ed Fogley to locate it.

The Valley of Gold

After a wagon train of settlers survive a dust devil, they discover a volcanic valley filled with gold. The Lone Ranger and Tonto warn them to leave as fast as they can, but greed gets the better of them.

Slade Foxworth recruits Belle Starr to be in a new version of the Purple Sagebrush Gang. He intends to prove they are superior to Buffalo Bill and Annie Oakley. The Lone Ranger infiltrates Slade's gang disguised as The Sharpshooter.

The Black Mare

Bart Caspar is using a black mare to round up all the wild horses from Wild Horse Valley so he can sell them. When The Lone Ranger allows Silver to visit the valley of his birth, Silver gets captured as well.

A young Navajo brave steals gumdrops from a general store and finds himself on the run from a cavalry captain and his men. The Lone Ranger and Tonto investigate the matter.

The honest Kelly family competes in the Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889 for a piece of land to call their own. But they face stiff competition from the criminal Smothers Brothers.
