Jerry Lester's guests include comics Jack Pearl and Cliff Hall, comedy dancers Elsa and Waldo, singer Joan Edwards, the Kurt Jons Dancers, with Dick Bernie and Herbie Faye. Edwards does voice impressions of several singers including Lena Horne, and a comedy number on how TV has ruined her love life. Jons' company performs an East India dance. Pearl, with usual straight-man Hall, plus Bernie and Faye, does a comedy bit based on the shell game.

Guests include ventriloquist Paul Winchell and Jerry Mahoney, Jane Pickens and the Escourtiers, rumba dancers Horatio and Lana, and actors Kim Stanley and John Garfield. Winchell tries to get Mahoney to go to sleep; when he does, the dummy dreams about the two trading places. Pickens and her six Escourtiers' songs include "Alexander's Ragtime Band" and "St. Louis Blues." Lester is a greedy contestant on the radio quiz show "Take It or Lump It." Garfield and Stanley perform a dramatic scene from Clifford Odets' "Golden Boy". Lester also juggles.
