Clara fails constantly at dating. Sten is planning a surprise for his wife Kersti and invites their kids, Aron and Clara, for dinner. Despite Sten's efforts, Kersti's condition creates a tense atmosphere in the family.

The family grieves in different ways. Sten tries to get a refund on the trip he booked. Aron and his girlfriend Elsa have a crisis. Clara crosses a line at work and gets unexpected help from her neighbor Peter.

Sten goes to the luxury resort alone, where he meets a new and exciting woman, Anita. Clara goes on a date with Peter, but is very turned off by his career choice. Aron is stressed about finding the perfect present for Elsa.

Clara and Peter's romance blossoms, until Peter drops the bomb. Aron is under pressure, and has doubts about his future with Elsa. Sten has never felt so alive.

Jag vill se framåt/I want to look to the future

Peter moves out of Clara's apartment, but they have a hard time staying away from each other. Aron feels betrayed by Elsa, and he can't accept that Sten has moved on with Anita. He goes to his best friend Jenny for support.

Anita and Sten plan a wedding and can't agree. The memory of Kersti is distracting. Aron has to shoulder a new responsibility. Clara fights for her relationship with Peter and has difficulty winning the approval of his son.
