Episode #1.1

Director Park persuades He-seok not to pursue cardiothoracic surgery but He-seok has made up her mind. Meanwhile, Kang-guk gets into a fist fight while fishing and is taken to the ER where he meets Eun-sung for the first time.

S1 • E2

Episode #1.2

He-seok follows Kang-guk and demands to know why she was rejected as a resident. Kang-guk explains to her that she has no compassion for patients. He-seok runs to the stairwell where she bursts out crying and Eun-sung follows her.

S1 • E3

Episode #1.3

He-seok hasn't responded yet but Kang-guk and Eun-sung just leave after they find out what Kim Jung-gil offered her. He-seok goes looking for Kang-guk again begging for another chance as a cardiothoracic resident.

S1 • E4

Episode #1.4

Kim Tae-joon tells Kang-guk that Eun-sung isn't qualified to be a resident at the hospital and asks him to reconsider. Meanwhile, Eun-sung just happens to be right about the gangster patient's CT scans surprising He-seok.

Episode #1.5

He-seok feels confused while she looks down on her old friend Dong-gwon getting into his far in a sea of his fans. Meanwhile, Eun-sung makes He-seok his famous mix coffee for when he's feeling down.

S1 • E6

Episode #1.6

Han Su-jean sneaks out of the hospital to shoot a commercial and collapses suddenly. Meanwhile, at a company dinner Tae-joon asks Rae-hyun and Mina to be on his team.
