Ren Anle and HanYe's first encounter in the rain. When Anle (the pirate leader of Anle Village) was chased by another pirate clan, she took HanYe and ran away together. Anle helped HanYe heal the wound and asked to be his Crown Princess.

Ren Anle is appointed as the officer of the Court of Judicial Review. Anle forces the Crown Prince HanYe to marry her. A wager is made at Lingxiang Tower on whether Ren Anle will become the Crown Princess of HanYe.

An Le, Han Ye, and Ming Xi collect evidence implicating Duke Zhong of heinous crimes, unaware that Northern Qin is manipulating the current events to their advantage. An Le deliberately reveals her true identity to An Ning.

Han Ye and An Le have fallen off a cliff into the waters below due to an ambush. Han Ye confirms that An Le is Zi Yuan when he checks for her scar after she fell asleep from exhaustion.

Alone in the bottom valley, Han Ye and Ren AnLe has a private time together when they could momentarily forget about their duties in the outside world. Han Ye confesses his love to AnLe and told her he will always keep Di ZiYuan safe.

An Ning and Han Ye try to convince An Le not to dwell on revenge. As the Crown Prince's wedding date is set on the Empress Dowager's birthday for a double celebration, both An Le and Cheng En plan the fate of the Di family's legacy.

On the day of the wedding/Empress Dowager's birthday, two witnesses come to plead for exoneration of the Di family. As the Emperor refuses to believe the two witnesses, Han Ye suggests bringing in Duke Zhong for interrogation.

An Le reveals her true identity and brings forth the letter instructing her father to deploy his troops to the Northwest. The Emperor denies writing the letter. An Ning comes forward to expose the true mastermind.

The Empress Dowager commits suicide as the people and officials are pressuring the Emperor to give the Di family justice.

While Di Ziyuan waits for the Emperor's public apology to the Di's family , Luo MingXi is sent to prison for treason. Crown Prince HanYe tries to persuade the Emperor to release Luo.

An Le and Ming Xi discover that the Left Chancellor is the spy from Northern Qin. The Emperor releases Han Ye given the results of the investigation. Wen Shou escapes from his captors by utilizing the survival skills taught by Han Ye.

Di Chengen returns to her hometown. Before Zi Yuan departs for Jingnan and An Ning heads to the north to strengthen the borders along Northern Qin, they hold a banquet at Lingxiang Tower and invite Han Ye and Luo Mingxi to join.

Bai Zheng exposes Leng Bei as a Northern Qin spy, holding An Ning hostage. Leng Bei is the illegitimate son of the North Qin Emperor. Zi Yuan and Han Ye rush to Junxian City. Ming Xi is dispatched to Qingnan City to support An Ning.

The Northern Qin forces intensify their attack. Luo MingXi disobeys the Imperial order to aid Princess An Ning and changes to the route to help Zi Yuan. An Ning dies in battle. The soldiers are furious and demand the execution of Mingxi.

Han Ye orders to give MingXi the poisoned wine in front of everyone. Zi Yuan reorganizes the Di Imperial Army to counterattack Northern Qin. The rift between Zi Yuan and Han Ye increases due to the death of Ming Xi.

Episode #1.35

Wen Shuo learns he is Di Jin Yan, electing to stay with Han Ye. Han Ye plans to thwart the assassins sent by the Emperor and Leng Bei's counter-offensive. Evading capture by Qin, Han Ye opts to sacrifice himself for the Jing Empire.

Due to the mourning for Han Ye, Zi Yuan falls unconscious for a couple of days and wakes up with a head of white hair. She convinces the Emperor to reinstate Ming Xi to his official position and Jin Yan as the heir of the Di family.

Han Ye returns to the capital after hearing his father is terminally ill. He goes to Fuling Mountain in hopes that Di Shang Tian will cure his blindness. He refuses to "see" Zi Yuan, despite her efforts to be near him.
