After receiving an anonymous tip, undercover officers set up a sting operation on a suspected drug dealer who is reportedly selling cocaine out of a local motel room. Despite meticulous planning and execution, the operation is nearly called off when the team loses communication with their confidential informant. Meanwhile, officers target two of the police department's most wanted drug trafficking suspects: an alleged fentanyl trafficker who is known to carry weapons and a suspected meth dealer who reportedly has ties to major suppliers.

After gathering intel from a surveillance operation and traffic stop, the officers execute a search warrant on an apartment they suspect is harboring a sex trafficking victim and her captor. Later, Lou follows along as the department pulls off a huge human trafficking sting operation at a local hotel. But the operation takes an unexpected turn when they hook a fellow first responder soliciting sex and offering drugs to an undercover officer.

Fentanyl overdose deaths are currently on the rise and this deadly epidemic has just claimed the life of a local 18-year-old teenage boy. The team races to identify the suspected dealer who sold the deadly dose of counterfeit pills, but in the process, they uncover a lead on a suspected cartel member who is selling fentanyl pills by the hundreds. Meanwhile, undercover officers build a case against a suspected drug enterprise that is operating out of a neighborhood, family-owned liquor store.

Their most dangerous target is fresh out of prison on a homicide charge, and reportedly trafficking large amounts of meth and fentanyl into the area.
