David dreams increasingly strange dreams about Emilie Selander who wrote the letters and the search for the truth about the Selander family leads the young people to Ringaryd's church.

When David, Annika and Jonas read further in Emilie's letter, a love story is revealed that is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. So that's a new piece of the puzzle:

When Emilie's coffin is to be opened, the whole of Ringaryd gathers to witness the historic event. And among them is a mysterious man with a blue Peugeot.

Jonas listens to the recordings and hears the ghostly voice again. And david decides to leave Ringaryd. He can't stand the nightmares and the nagging feeling that something isn't right.

Annika and David are increasingly drawn to each other and Annika decides to defy the curse. Meanwhile so are they given a cryptic message from Julia - a final clue.

Jonas finds out what the words Gemini geminos quaerunt mean and realizes that there may be a way to break the curse. But when they call Julia, they get surprising information.
