After the Huntingtons disobey Baron Alwyn's orders, their castle is burned to the ground. Young Robert Huntington flees the flames, and together with his cousins Will, Winifred and Barbara, takes refuge in Sherwood Forest.

S1 • E2
The Baron's soldiers hunt Robin, Will, Winifred, and Barbara, who are looking for a place to hide in Sherwood Forest. The soldiers surround the fugitives who are then saved by the sudden appearance of a mysterious "monster" out of a swamp.

S1 • E3
Robin returns home to find out what happened after Alwyn burned his father's castle to the ground. He is spotted by Gilbert, a young knight of the "Black Rose" who wants to avenge his defeat for an earlier fight. A second fight ensues.

S1 • E4
While Robin and his friends comb the forest looking for a place to call home, back in Nottingham, Baron Alwyn organizes a manhunt to capture Robin. In the resulting manhunt, the Baron's soldiers find Marian of the House of Lancaster.

S1 • E5
Baron Alwyn discovers that Marian has joined the outlaws and orders three mercenaries, led by Guy of Gisbourne, to destroy the band of bandits and retrieve Marian. Robin and his cousins are captured by the soldiers who seem implacable.

S1 • E6
Robin and Will search the forest for Marian's golden cross and some food to ease their shortage of supplies. They then run into Little John and his fellow bandits who plan to attack a supply train using a war cart with a catapult.

S1 • E7
The Baron forces Gilbert to kidnap Marian so that he can get his hands on her golden cross. However, Marian lost the cross. It is found by Little John who gives it to his new love, Winifred. Gilbert then mistakes Winifred for Marian.

S1 • E8
Robin and Will set out for Nottingham to rescue Marian and Winifred. Along the way, they run into Little John and Much who join them. But the Baron Alwyn has a surprise up his sleeve: A mechanical fire-breathing dragon.

S1 • E9
While Robin and Little John have a falling-out and decide to go their separate ways in their attempt to free Marian and Winifred, Marian fights her own battle inside the castle and tries to get Gilbert on her side.

S1 • E10
Will persuades Robin and Little John to join forces again in another attempt to free the girls from the castle. Meanwhile, Winifred connects with one of the other prisoners inside the dungeon. The Baron orders a woman to be executed.

S1 • E11
After their attempt to save Winifred and Marian fails, Robin and his companions go into hiding. While in refuge, Much confesses that he is in love with Marian. The boys then reminisce about their adventures together so far.

S1 • E12
Robin and Little John have an idea to free Marian and Winifred: They disguise as girls to sneak into the castle. Marian is sure that Robin is dead and considers committing suicide, and Gilbert discovers Marian is hiding a dagger.

S1 • E13
In desperation, Marian takes out the dagger she has been hiding and is about to use it to kill herself during the wedding ceremony. Meanwhile, Little John frees the prisoners in the castle dungeons and then races to his friends' rescue.

S1 • E14
During a dispute, Barbara runs away into Sherwood Forest. However, Baron Alwyn has set traps throughout the forest. Robin and his friends set out to look for Barbara with the help of the wayward girl's pet wolf cub.

S1 • E15
Robin is reunited with White Sander, a horse his parents once gave to him. The horse's behavior seems to be conditioned by circumstances linked to his parents' accident and Robin realizes that it might not have been an accident at all.

S1 • E16
Gilbert is sentenced to death because he failed to carry out the Baron's orders. However, he escapes from prison, flees to Sherwood Forest where he finds his beloved Marian. Blinded by rage, the fallen knight kidnaps the girl.

S1 • E17
The Bishop orders his men to leave a cart full of supplies in Sherwood Forest. Little John and his men discover the cart. All except Robin and Will eat to their hearts' content until they suffer from food poisoning.

S1 • E18
Wohall is a strong, courageous knight who seeks justice now that he has tracked down Robin Hood, the "Traitor". Robin declares his own innocence, but Wohall won't listen, and orders him to stand and fight in a duel to the death. The duel begins, and almost immediately, Robin is disarmed. However, instead of trying to escape, Robin stands there defying Wohall to run him through with his lance.

S1 • E19
In the forest, Robin and his friends come across Eric and Morse, who say they are "charcoal burners" in search of the right wood for their trade. The meeting takes place under the most auspicious circumstances, because Eric and Morse prove to be excellent company, and are immediately made to feel right at home by our heroes. However, during their short stay in the forest, strange things happen.

S1 • E20
Marian's hatred for Baron Alwyn is so strong that she is determined to get her revenge by killing him. Robin knows Marian is following her instinct, but he does not agree with her. He is against violence, unless absolutely necessary, and so when the Baron is at his mercy begging him to spare his life, Robin refuses to deliver the coup de grace.

S1 • E21
The evil Baron Alwyn hires a man who owns a lion, hoping that it will kill the outlaws in Sherwood Forest. The heroes of Sherwood encounter the savage beast with Barbara being the first to come face-to-face with the beast.

S1 • E22
Marian learns that every full moon,the spirits of the dead roam the land seeking revenge for the wrong that was done to them while they were alive. Marian decides to finally find out if the legend about the Count of Mount Rose is true.

S1 • E23
Alwyn tries to force the Dickson family to sell him their land. Robin and his friends build defense works around their farm, set traps for the soldiers and their war machine and await the imminent attack led by Baron Alwyn personally.

S1 • E24
Gilbert's sister Cleo comes to Nottingham to find out how her brother died. The Baron tells her a lie. While Cleo, consumed by hatred, tries to exact revenge on Robin, Robin has fallen in love with Cleo after their first encounter.

S1 • E25
Once again, Alwyn commissions the Knights of the Black Rose to hunt down Robin and his friends. While the Baron draws up his plan, Robin, Little John, and the others prepare to attack a customs post that the baron uses to levy heavy tolls.

S1 • E26
Marian's hatred for Baron Alwyn has become an obsession to an extent that she could permanently lose her mind. According to Friar Tuck, Robin is the only person who can bring the girl back to her senses.

S1 • E27
Baron Alwyn raises taxes to such an extent that people are forced to live in misery. Unable to afford food for her baby, a young mother abandons it in Sherwood Forest. Little John comes across the baby and takes it home.

S1 • E28
Flying enthusiast Friar Tuck tells the legend of a flying ship that exists on the highest mountain in the region. However, he warns them that the mountain dangerous, yet Robin and his party head out to find the legendary flying ship.
