Buenos Aires, 1995. Lila, a 50-year-old trans woman, survives working as a prostitute in a cabaret run by Víctor, her possessive lover. Beneath the neon lights and the long, exhausting nights, she holds on to a fragile dream: to leave that life behind and dedicate herself to what she truly loves-singing. Music becomes the quiet refuge that allows her to imagine a different future beyond the harsh reality she faces every day. Lila shares a modest and deteriorating house with Ámbar, Marcela and Lisete, three fellow sex workers who have become her chosen family. Bound together by necessity and affection, the four women navigate a world filled with danger, prejudice and economic hardship. Within the walls of their home they create a fragile sense of community, supporting one another with loyalty, humor and resilience as they struggle to survive. Life at the cabaret is marked by the constant tension between vulnerability and survival. Víctor's presence looms over Lila's life, embodying both protection and control, while the streets outside remind them daily of how precarious their existence truly is. Despite the hardships, the women cling to small moments of joy and companionship that help them endure. When an unexpected tragedy shakes their already fragile balance, Lila is forced to confront painful truths about the world she inhabits and the relationships that define it. As tensions grow and long-buried secrets begin to surface, the bonds that hold the group together are put to the test. At the same time, new responsibilities and unexpected encounters push Lila to reconsider the path she has been following for so long. Caught between loyalty, fear and the possibility of change, Lila begins to question whether the life she has always known is the only one available to her. In the midst of grief, uncertainty and difficult choices, she must decide if she will remain trapped in the same cycle or find the courage to imagine a different future-one shaped not only by survival, but by the bonds of a family she and her friends have chosen for themselves.
