Bano is madly in love with a man named Talal, but Bano's mother isn't ready for her to get married. Ayesha must give up all hopes of pursuing more education, and she must quickly find employment before their mother will permit Bano to marry. Basit finds out that in order for him to be entitled to his fathers will he will need to get married.

Basit's friend suggests he consider marrying Soha to secure the inheritance. Meanwhile, Ayesha looks for a job to protect her sister from their mother.

After much consideration Basit finally asks Soha to marry him. She requests some time from him while keeping the ring. At the courthouse, Bano is waiting for Talal.

After the doctors saved Bano, the hospital bill now needs sorting. Extremely desperate, Ayesha goes for an interview at Basit office and convinces him to hire her.

Basit wants to get married to Soha as soon as possible to fulfill his fathers will, but Soha gets angry and breaks the engagement. Basit asks Ayesha about the presentation he sent to her on her phone, but she sheepishly admits that she sold it.

Ayesha stays late at the office to request an advance payment from her boss, Basit, but this leads to rumors circulating about the two of them. Bano discovers that Talal is engaged to someone else.

Bano goes to Talal's wedding to give him his ring back. Basit has an argument with his mother, and abruptly tells her that he and Ayesha got married.

Ayesha informs Basit that she plans to resign once she has repaid the loan he gave her. Desperate, Basit goes to her mother to ask for Ayesha's hand in marriage.

On the day of the wedding, Basit gives Ayesha's mother a cheque, and she tells him to never tell Ayesha of the deal made between them. Both are unaware that Bano was listening.

Basit tells Ayesha that she can no longer work as they are now married. Bano finds the cheque that Basit gave her mother.

Ayesha's family comes to visit her, and Basit feels very irritated by this, especially after witnessing Zoya breaking a glass bottle in their room.

Basit shouts at Ayesha when he finds out that she gave her mother his envelope containing important work in it. With nothing to do around the house, Ayesha starts to learn Basit's routine.

As Bano no longer has a job and money is an issue, Ayesha's mother calls Basit asking him to hire her. Basit's friend hosts dinner just for him and Ayesha, but Basit never arrives.

Ayesha finally convinces her mother to meet Amir, whom Zoha likes, but things take a turn for the worst when Amir's mother shamelessly asks for a huge amount of dowry.

Ayesha's mother has had enough of Zoya so locks her in her room. Ayesha plans a birthday party for Basit which goes well until he sees his mother and decides to humiliates her in front of all of his friends.

Before going to work Basit fulfils Ayesha small wish of asking him to spend a couple of minutes with his mother as she has decided to go back home. He finds his mother alone in a room holding his childhood drawings before realising something is terribly wrong.

Basit, along with Ayesha, vists his mother's grave. Zoya, in the middle of the night, elopes with Amir and Bano witnesses the act.

After hearing that Zoya eloped, Ayesha is worried what Basit will think about her family so tells Fahad her problems and keeps Basit in the dark.

Fahad meets Ayesha in the absence of Basit. Basit arrives and, thinking there is something happening between the two of them, slaps Fahad and kicks Ayesha out of the house.

Basit has made the decision to divorce Ayesha. Fahad tries to talk to Basit, but Basit keeps avoiding Fahad. Basit gets in a car accident and Ayesha comes to his aid.
