Nadiya Hussain begins her culinary road trip around Britain in the Home Counties. She goes asparagus harvesting, learns how to build her own smoker in Milton Keynes and creates an Eton Mess cheesecake.

Peak District

Nadiya cooks her own interpretation of the Bakewell Tart before visiting a family business making a local delicacy, oatcakes. She then travels to Hale in Greater Manchester to meet an artisan pickle maker.

East of England

Nadiya travels to the East of England in search of the stories behind the food she loves to cook and eat. She sails off in search of crabs then learns about making crisps.

London

Nadiya travels to London in search of some cutting-edge food. She visits an indoor, urban farm on an industrial estate and a chef who cooks with fragrances.

Yorkshire

Nadiya returns to the county where she lived for a decade. She meets one of the few remaining shore fishermen, discovers locally produced halloumi and creates new twists on local favourites.

Scotland

Nadiya gathers wild Scottish "spices" with a forager to make a Scottish curry, visits an ancient watermill to grind flour to make spiced soda-bread and then creates a veggie haggis tart tatin.

West Country

Nadiya heads to the West Country in search of two of her favourites - garlic and jam. Before setting off she makes her own take on a pasty. She then visits a preserve-making business in Gloucester and a garlic farm.

Wales

Before setting off for the principality, Nadiya makes her own version of the Welsh Cake. She goes to meet sheep farmers in the Brecon Beacons and makes them a lamb bhuna. Then she visits the makers of edible rosewater in Monmouth.
