A fire ravages Singkusing. We are introduced to young Princess. We see that she learned from her dad, Martin, to be helpful to others. We also see the Nieva family, a loving group where Princess learned how to be a good kid. But challenges enter the family when Andoy, Princess' younger brother, suddenly had difficulty moving his legs.

The doctor says Andoy has a congenital disease called tethered spine syndrome. Good thing that Martin and Selma have enough money from their investment. Unluckily, we are introduced to Rosa and Donald, the heads of the investment company. It looks like they're up to no good. During Princess' 13th birthday, investors rushed to the Nieva household to let out their anger after realizing they've been scammed.

Martin and Ernie try to contact the investment company but Rosa and Donald are nowhere to be found. Martin, then, receives news about Rosa and Donald's whereabouts. He tries to run after them as they escape in their car. Martin is thrown off the ditch. The next morning, Martin dies, leaving Princess and their whole family.

Grieving and at a lost, Princess and the remaining Nieva family try to be strong for each other. But it seems that luck is not on their side. The scammed investors put up a case against Selma. Selma is sentenced to 20-year imprisonment leaving her kids behind.

Princess and her siblings are left in the care of Lucing and Ernie. All of their assets have been taken away. The only thing left is their bike shop and her pedicab "Lucky". Their old bike shop will be their new house from now on. Princess tries to be strong and finds a way to work for her siblings. She discovers "pagpapadyak". After 10 years, we see Princess, now attuned to her new life. She gets in an accident with an unknown man - Wes.

Princess and Wes get into a fight and no one wants to back down. But in the repair shop, Wes escapes leaving Princess and poor Lucky behind. Without Lucky, Princess has no means to earn a living. Good thing, Miko is still there, supporting and helping her. The whole Singkusing helps Princess during this hard time which angers Lyca, Princess' ex-bestie, more.
S1 • E7
Lyca and her friends prank Princess. Again, the community is present to help her. She even gets a discount for the repair thanks to Lucing. All these problems, she connects to Wes. Meanwhile, Wes is tasked to go back to the community for his job, and it looks like he and Princess will meet again.

Jingjing tries her luck and approaches the volleyball team coach. What started as a rejection turns quickly into acceptance when she accidentally let her innate skill shine. Princess, on the other hand, finds herself in between a fight amongst her neighbors. But what a blessing in disguise this turned out to be. She finally sees Wes once again.
S1 • E9
Wes tries to escape again but he is unsuccessful this time. Thanks to his quick thinking, he persuaded Princess to forget about their past squabble. A video of the whole community fighting goes viral. Businesses in SIngkusing are affected. Ernie accepts Wes' offer to do a documentary about the community to uplift it again. But with the help of Princess who, he says, knows everything about their place.

Princess and Wes decline the offer. Lyca swoops in to earn points from her father. But Wes slowly realizes, Lyca doesn't know anything about their place. Millie starts to have a hunch that Miko has feelings for their friend Princess. After several days, Princess and Miko are surprised that Wes is now their neighbor.
S1 • E12
Everyone is tense. They are unsure if Wes is still alive. The PODA boys recount what really happened. They just invited Wes for a drink. Luckily, Wes is still alive but still at odds with Princess. The mayor of the town visits Ernie. After the viral video, then news about what happened to Wes, the mayor wants to shut down all businesses in Singkusing.

Miko slowly realizes that maybe, he really has feelings for his best friend. But Princess is still oblivious about it. Jingjing is still in need of a new pair of shoes and Ernie is now out of ideas. He talks to Princess and Wes again to help each other and make a documentary for the barangay.
S1 • E14
This time, Princess accepts the offer. And this time, the citizens are more open to Wes because Princess is with him. Millie then asks Princess where her heart is on having a boyfriend. Princess says she has no time for love. Miko hears this. Meanwhile, Jingjing, fed up on waiting for Princess to gather enough money for her shoes, steals a pair in the market.
S1 • E15
Princess is disappointed with her sister. Miko makes Jingjing realize the gravity of her mistake and even if he can't be Princess' boyfriend right now, he still wants to be supportive for her. Wes makes a rough cut of his documentary to present to the mayor. The mayor likes the video but finds it staged. She wants to see Singkusing's true heart personally. She gives the whole place one week to prepare something, or else, all businesses will be closed.
S1 • E16
Wes continues his interview/immersion with Princess. He slowly learns the 'Singkusing' way of life. And because of the mayor's challenge, Ernie seeks the help of his citizens to think of brilliant ideas. Lyca and Princess go head-to-head for having the best concepts. In the end, everyone votes on who will lead the project.
S1 • E17
Lyca wins and Princess accepts defeat graciously. Meanwhile, during one of their sessions, Wes saves Princess from an impending accident. The two formally calls themselves as friends. Miko tells Princess not to trust Wes that fast.

Miko is sad upon learning that Princess and Wes are now friends. Meanwhile, Lyca starts to mobilize the people for the project. She rules with an iron hand, which the citizens hate. In the end, they force her to resign and appoint Princess as their new leader.
S1 • E19
The whole village is busy preparing for their event. While buying materials, Miko hears Wes talking to Paul on the phone. He notices something fishy but Wes denies it. Ram and Casey thought Lyca has another evil plan against Princess. They were surprised that Lyca is cool being replaced and seems to befriend Princess once again.
S1 • E20
Lyca offers a makeover for Princess and this is part of her plan all along. She puts a sleeping pill in Princess' food. When the mayor arrives, Princess is nowhere to be found and Lyca is ready to take all the credit. But Princess wakes up and defends her post. Princess confronts Lyca because of what she did which results to mending their friendship. Princess promises to help Lyca in finding her mom. With the help of Andoy, they found Lyca's mom online.
S1 • E21
Princess and Lyca's friendship blossoms again. While Miko feels out of place because Wes is getting close with Princess. Lucing suddenly collapses and Princess learns that Lyca's mom has a new family in Japan.

Princess thinks of a good way on how to tell Lyca what she discovered. She must do it fast because Lyca is already applying for a Japanese visa. Lucing decides to keep Miko in the dark about what happened to her. Also, Princess gets initiated into Lyca's group.

Miko lets the doctor check on Lucing and the latter gets angry. Princess tries to tell the truth to Lyca but she keeps on getting distracted or interrupted. A basketball game ensues and they learn that Wes is seemingly engaged to someone.

Lucing and Miko make up. Princess visits Selma again. Selma advises her kids not to meddle with other people's family issues. Princess decides to keep quiet but Lyca overhears her. Now, Lyca hates Princess again for ruining her life.

Miko talks to Lyca about her friendship with Princess. Wes and Princess wrap up their tour with a favor from Rizalina to get medicines in their stockroom. While inside, Princess and Wes find themselves trapped. It was Ram and Casey who did it for Lyca.

Lyca plants seeds of doubt in Miko's head while talking to him. Meanwhile, Lucing and the Nieva siblings are concerned that Princess is nowhere to be found. Casey, on the other hand, feels guilty of what they've done. She forces Lyca and Ram to open the stock room. As they open it, they find Princess and Wes sleeping closely with each other. Lyca thinks of another evil plan.

Miko finds Lucky and thereby finding Princess too. Princess firmly states that nothing happened between her and Wes, and that they were trapped. But doubts are in Miko's head because the stock room wasn't locked when they arrived. Soon, Princess discovers that what happened to her and Wes is now a viral scandal.

Lyca rejoices because her plan was a success. Miko confronts Wes and gets into a fight with him. It angers Princess. Millie nags Miko and tells him that they know Princess enough that she won't do what's being said about her. Miko plans to say sorry and finally profess his love. But on his way, Princess and Wes faces yet again another group of neighbors who insist that something is going on between them. Wes suddenly admits to the issue and tells everyone that he and Princess are now a couple.

Miko leaves and he did not hear the part where Princess insists that Wes take back what he said because it is just a joke. Meanwhile, as Wes observes Princess by his window, he felt his heart skips a beat.

Miko tries to come clean with his feelings but he gets interrupted every time. Meanwhile, Wes is coming to terms with his feelings. But at the end, he feels a spark between him and Princess.

Both Princess and Wes are shocked about the spark. Princess confides to Millie who thinks that Miko is the one Princess is talking about. By the end, Wes finally admits to Paul that he likes Princess.

Wes is set to tell Princess his feelings when Andoy gets into an accident. Miko can't seem to get a hold of Princess because she's always with Wes. While eating breakfast, Princess gets flustered as she thinks Wes is about to kiss her.

False alarm. Wes tells Princess that something is stuck in her teeth. The two continue to bond while Miko can't seem to get a hold of Princess. Princess then finds a box left outside her house. She has a secret admirer. Wes tells her that it is him.

Wes is just joking but after a day, they discover who the real secret admirer is. They learn that there's been a mistake. The gifts were not for Princess. It was for Millie. It was Millie who has a secret admirer. After getting pandemiko, Miko was interrupted by Lyca. Lyca thinks the pandesal and the sweet note is for her.

For a special interview session, Wes chooses Princess as his subject. They went to Selma and she even mistook Wes as Princess' boyfriend. Meanwhile, Miko feels Princess is drifting away from him. And on their way home, Wes brings Princess to a church. It is where he and his ex-fiancé were supposed to get married. He finally professes his love for Princess.

Princess finds it hard to believe that a guy like Wes will like her. She seems decided to put Wes in the friendzone. Until she felt jealous that other girls are hovering around Wes while helping them collect water.

Miko and Lyca proposes a project to the school principal. Meanwhile, Wes follows the advice of the PODA boys on how to pursue his girl not knowing it is Princess. He just gave a random name. It will blow over him when the real girl arrives.

Lyca confesses her feelings to Miko. But when she felt that she will be rejected, she tells him it's just a joke. Millie, on the other hand, is still annoyed with the gifts her secret admirer has been sending. Princess also learns that Jingjing is getting bullied in school.

Lyca wants to forget about her failed attempt. Meanwhile, when Princess arrives in school, she discovers everything has been sorted out, thanks to Wes. He gains more points with Princess. He even wins a ticket to finally meet Selma.

Selma tells Princess that she applied for a parole. Miko feels that he's losing Princess. He is set to surrender until he learns that Princess has been keeping all the notes from his pandemiko. Miko finally tells Princess he loves her.

Princess is shocked with Miko's confession. Her first reaction was to avoid him at all cost. Meanwhile, Selma is now waiting for a date for her release. And after 10 long years, Rosa is back.

With Selma's advice, Princess tries to play it cool with Miko. But she can't deny the fact that she's not at ease with him. One night, after one of her deliveries, Princess rescues a woman who is about to be robbed. We learn that the woman is Susan-Rosa's real name.

An unknown 'guardian angel' begins to leave goods for the people of Singkusing. Meanwhile, Susan is thankful of Princess' help. They become close immediately. The opposite is to be said with Princess and Miko's friendship.

Miko and Princess finally talk about their situation. Miko hoped it would clear things but instead results into a fight. Princess airs her concerns and fears because of Miko's confession.

Miko and Princess' friendship seems ruined. They now avoid each other. A barangay-wide brownout pushes the citizens to find their guardian angel with the hopes that he or she will help them with their problem. It is revealed that Susan is the one helping them all along.

Susan is welcomed with open arms. She even asks for a tour of the barangay. Princess is assigned to tour the visitor together with Miko. Awkwardness is palpable between the two. Inside the Nieva house, Susan is about to see a picture of Martin.

The whole barangay arranges a welcome party for Selma. Everyone is happy except for Princess, Miko and Wes who are awkward with each other. Wes also learns that after his stay at Singkusing, he will be assigned to Cebu.

It is evident that Princess and Miko miss each other but they choose to be distant from each other. Making it a win for Lyca who is slowly getting close with Miko. Selma experiences judgment from her neighbors. But the most painful of all is that Jingjing denies her in school.

A fight ensues between the Nieva siblings. But Selma doesn't take it against Jingjing. Princess rushes to the hospital upon learning that Wes' dad had a heart attack while in coma. We then learn that Wes' dad is Donald - Susan's right-hand man.

Donald is finally stable. Princess, on the other hand, has no idea that Wes' father is part of the scam that ruined her family. Meanwhile, Jingjing is still having a hard time with Selma's return.

Awkwardness is in the air as Princess and Miko team up to find Jingjing. Princess also applies for ALS. And in a project, Susan and Selma's paths will finally cross.

The PODA boys tell Miko to set aside his feelings and help Princess in her ALS review. While Wes celebrates because Donald is finally awake.

Donald is awake but has trouble remembering things, including Wes. Princess stays with Wes which only brings them closer to each other. Selma, on the other hand, starts her job in Susan's office and Daffodil, Susan's assistant, seams to hate her.

Axel begins to make his moves to win Millie's heart. But slowly, Millie sees cracks in her admirer's seemingly perfect personality. Donald's memories finally return. Wes and Princess arrange a parents meet up.

Susan visits Singkusing to flaunt her power. But is quickly thwarted by Princess, Selma, and Wes with the police. Afraid of getting caught, Susan hostages Selma while Princess tries to save her mom. Wes tells Princess he still loves her but the time is not right. Miko leaves for Singapore to pursue his master's.
