Yi-hyun spends her school days differently because of her ingenious photographic memory. One day, Yi-hyun was out to catch Pal-bok, who scammed her mother, when she met Kyung-du for the first time.

After Yi-hyun gives birth, she writes a letter to Kyung-du saying she will not be returning. On the other hand, Yi-hyun goes to Seoul and finds herself not being able to remember anything from 1997 to 2007.

Yi-hyun is told that she does not have any brain damage and decides to wait for her memories to return. On the other hand, as Kyung-du was raising Hae-deum, he sees Yi-hyun on TV.

Kyung-du goes to Yega Group, gives Yi-hyun a hug, and bursts out in tears when he sees her, but Yi-hyun only remembers him when she met him at Jo Pal-bok's housea as a student. Soo-chang tries to tell Yi-hyun what happened during the past 10 years.

While Yi-hyun and Kyung-du were arguing, Kyung-du's embraces Yi-hyun and is Yi-hyun is troubled by the comfort and familiarity of the touch. Hae-young persuades Sun-young to be honest and let it all out.

Yi-hyun ends up spending time with Hae-deum at Jeju by coincidence and begins to feel motherly affection for her. Kyung-du receives help from Yeon-jeong and tries to catch Jong-tae, who disappeared with his money and is now on the run.

Kyung-du mistakenly thinks Choi Guk kidnapped Hae-deum and finds out that he is Yi-hyun's father. Choi Guk urges Kyung-du to not tell Yi-hyun of his existence. Sun-young asks Yi-hyun for a chance to work.

Yi-hyun vaguely remembers her memories with Kyung-du and is worried that she held him back from his future. So-chang asks Yi-hyun who Hong Kyung-du and Hong Hae-deum are.

Kyung-du finds out that Yi-hyun took Hae-deum away and tries to bring her back but Yi-hyun wants to raise her. The chairman's wife calls people to take Kyung-du away somewhere.

Kyung-du lets Hae-deum go to Yi-hyun's house and decides to make a lot of money to get Hae-deum back. He tells Choi Guk that he won't be able to see him for a long time. Yi-hyun remembers the first time she went to Choi Seok's house with Choi Guk.
S1 • E11
Yi-hyun asks her uncle, Choi Seok, why he lied to her about Choi Guk leaving her behind when he knows the truth. Choi Seok is alarmed and gets angry and Yi-hyun notices his odd behavior. Choi Guk tells Kyung-du to ask Yi-hyun for her stocks.
S1 • E12
Hae-deum secretly comes out of the house, rides a bus to Kyung-du's house and waits for him there. Yi-hyun goes after Hae-deum and brings her back home. Choi Guk is kidnapped by unknown people.
S1 • E13
Ki-tae thinks Sun-young wants a divorce because of Soo-chang and tells him to quit his job at the company but Soo-chang rejects to do so. Yi-hyun tells Sun-young that she remembers the past and Sun-young is taken aback.
S1 • E14
Yi-hyun hears Kyung-du's voice while he's making porridge and remembers telling him that she was pregnant with Hae-deum. Choi Guk goes to Sang-hyun and tells him to hand Cell Bio over to him.
S1 • E15
Yi-hyun is in despair and runs out after hearing from Choi Guk that he signed the contract to give her up. Kyung-du asks Choi Guk to know everything. Choi Seok's disease worsens and as a result, a temporary shareholders meeting is held.
S1 • E16
Yi-hyun brings her luggage bag to Choi Guk and tells him that she has found a house for him and tells him to stay there. However, Choi Guk turns down the offer. Madam tells Ki-tae to bring Choi Guk's lawyer, who is currently in Vietnam, to their side.
S1 • E17
Choi Guk gives Ki-tae a copy of the original will and tells him that he will find the fabricated sections. Ki-tae thinks Yi-hyun is the mastermind behind all of this. Yi-hyun goes to Kyung-du and asks him out on a date.
S1 • E18
Yi-hyun stubbornly insists on being investigated even with the prosecutor's rude behavior. After being troubled by Madam Cho's orders, Executive Director Park makes a decision and tells Kyung-du to relay a letter to Yi-hyun.
