When the modest residents of the area are confronted with a breach of trust by a large developer which has begun construction in the middle of their neighbourhood against its promise they have no choice but to sue. Unfortunately, the greedy corporation and its lawyer do not care that it will block the sunlight and dreams of the residents . A bigger opponent, however, may be the residents themselves.

A small farming community decide to sue the large chemical company that has built a site near them, which has apparently been polluting the area with toxic chemicals.

The expensive legal team from Tokyo continues to represent the village folk whose watershed and lives have been ruined by the giant chemical company's fourth factory. The townspeople resolve to accept nothing less than a dismantling of the factory and five hundred million yen. The sides are not beyond employing dirty tricks, which have consequences beyond which side wins its case.

As a continuation of an earlier episode where the law firm took on the giant chemical company the lawyers represent the dismissed chemical engineer, but not before a firm and a lawyer switch sides. Not only a few surprises pop up during the proceedings, but several other lawyers become involved as well.
