An animated adaptation of the children's books created by the German-Polish writer and illustrator Janosch/Horst Eckert (1931-). Each episode contains two self-contained stories. The frame story of the series features an anthropomorphic bear as the storyteller who narrates the various tales.

A small bear and a small tiger live by a river. One day, a banana crate drifts by with Panama written on it." This country becomes the land of dreams for the two of them. And they set off on a journey to their dream land.
