The Marci family is back from Canada. Rudy is leaving his last conquest, and Roland has to make up his mind, the late mornings with Mirta are over. But the Mistraliens are not at the end of their surprise: the return to school promises to be hectic. Ninon is furious that Vincent did not ask him her opinion on their move to Marseille.

Celine confides to Vincent that she is thrilled at the idea of spending the holidays with him. Vincent is unarmed, he doesn't know how to tell her that Laurence is coming for Christmas. She finds out from Ninon and takes refuge in alcohol.

Antoine receives a call from an unpleasant customer who wants to have his order delivered to his home. Antoine refuses and then realizes that the man, Sébastien, is in a wheelchair. Embarrassed, he delivers his groceries to him.

Laurence's arrival at the Mistral upsets all minds. Ninon is ecstatic, delighted to find her mother. Laurence absolutely wants a real traditional and family Christmas. Vincent is happy and unsettled.
