A German police procedural television series with Kommissar Herbert Keller as its main character. Each episode has its own group of suspects, and the Kommissar has to figure out what happened by sheer reasoning. Several assistants of the Kommissar are entrusted with collecting the evidence for their boss and doing most of the legwork. The settings for the episodes often include seedy pubs, nightclubs, and discotheques, which are depicted as meeting places for drug addicts and sex workers. Keller has the eccentric habit of addressing both his subordinates and his work colleagues (of various ranks) with informal pronouns typically used for family members and close friends.

Die Tote im Dornbusch

Eine Tote wird am Rande der Autobahn in einem Dornbusch gefunden. Es stellst sich heraus, dass sie die Ehefrau eines Wirts der nahe gelegenen Autobahnraststätte war, die mit einem LKW Fahrer ein Verhältnis hatte. Im weiteren Verlauf der Ermittlungen geraten ihre zahlreiche Männer-Bekanntschaften sowie ein völlig verstörter Ehemann in den Fokus der Ermittlungen.
