Inami catches Shimiwé stealing the Great Tatou's diamond eyes. Shimiwé says he needs them to save his animal double's child and makes off with them.

Inami, Shimiwé and Animata come across two boys from another tribe in the midst of the shark's tooth initiation. The oldest is terrified of sharks.

After a puma attacks a Bellacaïbos warrior, Pintos and the men of the village try to hunt the animal down. Inami goes to warn Hyaéma.

Caras and Xiomaro communicate a message from the Hékuras: the Patamis and Bellacaïbos tribes must unite under the leadership of Pintos and Morikas.
