When Alex, a man who says he is from the future, asks Sam and Emma for a place to stay Sam is more willing to practice his Christian beliefs and allow Alex to stay.

As time Alex says his hosts Emma and Sam are in most danger approaches, Emma is confronted by people from her past, which throws that past into question; but action taken by Alex prevents anything to adversely affect Emma, Sam or Annie.

The police find Emma's ex-husband's car. Meanwhile, in the village, the mysterious drawing of a refugee girl spreads the rumor that the newcomers are carrying a deadly virus.

Álex ends up in prison after Samuel confesses he has been hiding him at home the whole time. Samuel kicks Emma out of the house and stays with Ani. Alex gets information about his wife and manages to get out of jail to search for his daughter.
