Tray and Cousin Bobby intercept the kids at school and take them on a trip down memory lane. Shay tries to track down the kids, and her husband Josh reminds Shay that it's her lie that disrupted the family dynamic.

Cousin Bobby convinces Tray to try Tinder. Tray lands a great match but realizes that he's not emotionally ready for a new relationship.

Unbeknownst to Shay, Tray was invited to her mother's funeral reception, much to her disapproval. However, Tray stands up for Shay when her family gives her a hard time about not being there in her mother's later years. Throughout the episode, Tray is also being tracked by his former prison flame, Pooh Cat (guest starring Chrissy Metz), who believes Tray owes her one night of passion.
