S1 • E1
Romain, an ex-con, is placed in a restaurant job by his parole officer. The Chef, crazy or genius, accepts him into the kitchen - where his talent emerges much to the surprise of some of his co-workers. Of course The Chef has his own demons to fight and is on the verge of losing his establishment.

S1 • E2
Mr. Eduard, the new investor, has placed Delphine in the position on manager. She fires The Chef and tries to lock him out only to find that he will not go easily and refuses to leave the kitchen. Romain, who is being coerced by Walter to return to his criminal past, shares his creativity with Charlène who is being hassled by Yann, who is trying to get Romain fired.

S1 • E3
Yann continues his torture of Romain as they await the outcome of The Chef awakening from his coma. Romain learns the identity of his father and rebels. The Chef awakens to find that his senses have altered.

S1 • E4
The Chef finds himself in competition with Chef Estaban for access to Matsumoto's vegetables (the best in France). He brings Romain along and Yann of course is jealous. Delphine discovers that it is Mr Eduard who instigated the competition not knowing that it is Romain he is interested in.

S1 • E5
Yann challenges Romain to a duel. Chef asks Yann to call it off, but he refuses. Delphine threatens to fire them both. Chef takes off for a few days much to Delphine's surprise. She convinces Souleimane to tell her where he's gone. She follows him to his parents farm and he tells her about Romain, but not his other secret. Meanwhile, the duel takes place.

S1 • E6
Everything is down to truth, trust and emotion. Chef and Romain have to impress a famous critic while solving their family issues. Mr Edouard presses Delphine to choose between the two chefs. The restaurant is about to take a new turn.
