Henry's dissatisfaction with life on the throne is heightened during a visit to a halfway-house for recovering crack addicts. A chance meeting with florist Serena at the Palace prompts him to make a shock decision to abdicate.

Exit Strategy

Events escalate as Henry attempts a clandestine meeting with Serena outside the Palace and news of the abdication is leaked to the press. Franny is reluctantly tasked with finding the Palace mole.

Clearing the Air

Henry's attempts to meet with and confide in Serena become ever more elaborate. Prince Alastair is receptive to the idea of becoming King - but only after a gay royal wedding at Westminster Abbey could be arranged.
