While working, Woo Jin notices that a worker is trying to introduce his son to Seo Ri. It keeps bothering him, and he tries his best to end their conversation. Meanwhile, Seo Ri decides to take courage and perform at the festival alongside Professor Shim Myung Hwan, and Tae Rin is not happy upon hearing the news.

Woo Jin realizes that he can perfectly distinguish Seo Ri and the girl who died 13 years ago. He goes to his therapist and tells him that he does not want to hide his emotions to others, especially to Seo Ri, just because of the incident 13 years ago. Meanwhile, Jennifer gives the boys a strict diet plan in order for them to win the competition.

While meeting with Mr. Byun regarding the festival, Woo Jin overhears his phone call with Reporter Jung. After hearing the conversation, Woo Jin is enraged and lashes at him. He also goes to Seo Ri and tells her to quit the performance for the festival immediately. Seo Ri, who is hurt and confused, refuses to do so.

Seo Ri explains to Woo Jin she's okay with being used as an enticement for tickets because to her, the chance to play the violin on stage again and the chance that her uncle, who threw her away, might see her and find her, is a small price to pay. Upset and disheartened at Woo Jin for trying to stop her, Seo Ri runs to the rehearsal hall and practices throughout the night to feel better. Woo Jin has a restless night trying to find where she is.

Tae Rin is upset after hearing Mr. Byun, the conductor, tell her to love playing music instead of comparing herself to Seo Ri. Seo Ri approaches Tae Rin and apologizes to her for changing her mind about performing and joins the production team to help prepare for the event. Meanwhile, the Taesan High School rowing team saddles up and heads out to the 15th National Clear Water Boat Race with high hopes of winning a medal.

Woo Jin and Seo Ri share their first kiss. When Woo Jin tells her that it is his first time as well, Seo Ri is shocked and asks him what he had been doing up until now. Meanwhile, thanks to Seo Ri's hard work, Hee Su decides to turn her into a full-time employee, and Woo Jin is the most excited.

After finding Seo Ri's notebook at her flower shop, Mi Hyun calls the hospital she was hospitalized in to ask whether she had woken up. However, the nurse refuses to give out patient information, saying that she needs to know Mi Hyun's relation to her. Woo Jin personally visits her and asks whether she is Seo Ri's aunt or not. However, Mi Hyun does not look back and tells him that he got the wrong person.

Woo Jin realizes that the girl he liked was actually Woo Seo Ri. He sobs uncontrollably while thanking her for being alive. However, Seo Ri is very confused as to why he is acting this way. Meanwhile, Chan is shocked when a nurse addresses Woo Jin as Seo Ri's boyfriend. However, he tells himself that it must all be a big misunderstanding.

Seo Ri finds a drawing in the storage room and realizes that it is a drawing of herself. She asks Chan where Woo Jin is, saying that she was posing the same way as she is in the drawing not long before the accident happened, and that Woo Jin might have known her in the past. Meanwhile, Woo Jin is nowhere to be seen.

Woo Jin confesses everything to Seo Ri and tells her that it is his fault that she is in a coma. However, Seo Ri tells him that she knew him even before he knew her and tells him the whole story. The next day, Woo Jin finds out that Chan has taken Seo Ri out.

Chan confesses his feelings to Seo Ri but tells her that it is all in the past. He comforts her by saying that he will recover from this heartbreak quickly and asks her to take care of his uncle just like now. Meanwhile, Woo Jin tells Seo Ri that it was not her uncle and aunt who had been paying for her hospital bills.

Mi Hyun musters up the courage to approach Seo Ri. She gives her Hyun Gyu's diary that he wrote to Seo Ri while he was taking care of her. Furthermore, it turns out that they had gotten a divorce as a means of protecting Seo Ri's house from the bankruptcy.

Rin Kim has invited Seo Ri to come to Berlin, Germany and attend the music school she is currently in. Although Seo Ri is in a dilemma, the people around her tell her that this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance that she should not let go of. Furthermore, even Woo Jin tells her not to worry about him. The day of Seo Ri's departure, Woo Jin comes back home and feels Seo RI's vacancy. In his room, he finds a letter written by her to him and reads it.
