One of the Guys

Stewart Jackson's hopes of joining the Renford Comprehensive school football team are dashed when he is badly injured during trials. He and others who were also not selected - hothead Jason Summerbee, poet Ben Phillips and faux-Italian Bruno Di Gradi - decide to form their own five-a-side team, adding cool kid Ronnie Supra and talented striker Robin Walker (who was denied a place on the school team because of her gender).

Don Bruno

When Bruno gets bullied by the Razors for being an Italian, Eddie secretly pretends to be his uncle, a mafia boss, to help Bruno stand up for himself and frighten the bullies off.

Field of Dreams

The Rejects organize a trip to see a Queens Park Rangers match, but Jason can't afford the ticket. Instead, he sneaks in where he gets to play one-on-one against the legendary Stan Bowles.

Heartbreak Hotel

When Ben's pining over his crush, Justine, starts to effect his football the Rejects all try to help him win her attention. Eddie tries to make it up to Priscilla when he forgets their anniversary.

All in the Mind

Robin appoints herself team psychologist, but rather than putting the Rejects in a winning mindset, her techniques instead make them see the positives of defeat.

The Best Medicine

After Stewart quits the Rejects when no one will follow his tactics, Jason assumes the role of manager, but his changes make the team even worse.

Ben tries to keep it from the rest of the Rejects when Justine has him join her ballet class.

Ronnie spends all his money promoting an event that ends up being canceled. He then has to hide from angry ticket holders when he can't afford to give them refunds.

The Rejects all try to find favor with Jason when he claims to have an extra ticket for a match between Manchester United and Liverpool.

Ciao Bambino

Gina, an Italian Girl, embarasses Bruno (who pretends to be Italian) into dropping his alter ego and going back to being boring Bary Grade, who is useless at football. When his one and only fan persuades him to once again become Bruno he reacquires his Italian football genius and gets the girl.

Bowled Over

Vinnie's dad wants him to play cricket like the rest of his family have, but Vinnie wants to commentate more.

S1 • E13

High Noon

The Rejects need to beat the Razors to avoid relegation; to prevent that from happening the Razors conspire to make sure Robin never makes it to the game.
