On his 18th birthday, Takeru Tenkuji receives a gift of a strange item called an Eyecon from his long lost ghost-hunting father Ryu, who left years before to try to see if ghosts actually exist.

In order to revive himself, Takeru must find 15 Hero Eyecons before his 99 days are up. Having already obtained Musashi, he sets out to find the remaining 14 Hero Eyecons.

After hints from Sennin, Takeru realizes that the next Eyecon is Robin Hood's. As if it were fate, a modern day thief has been going around the city stealing from the rich and giving to the poor while calling themselves 'Little John'.

Sennin tells Takeru that the next Eyecon is Oda Nobunaga's but it is currently unobtainable. Meanwhile, he is alerted to odd activity at an office building where things are mysteriously floating. Could it be the work of a Gamma?

Takeru tries to figure out the intentions of the mysterious other Kamen Rider when he investigates gunfire at a local school.

Takeru, Akari, and Onari investigate a young musician who seems to have all sound around him disappear, but when another Gamma appears, Kamen Rider Ghost and Kamen Rider Specter battle each other once more, all over the spirit of Beethoven.

Sennin informs Takeru that the next hero he should seek out is Billy the Kid, and that it will be near one of his close friends. However, Takeru instead finds Makoto Fukami and he confronts him on what his true intentions are.

Specter confronts Saionji, the mysterious man, who talks to him about what happened 10 years ago. Meanwhile, residents of a nearby apartment complex are being drawn to a monolith similar to the one at Tenku Temple.

Takeru meets up with Professor Igarashi, one of his father's friends, to see if his research can shed some light on what happened to him.

Takeru has decided to gather the 15 Eyecons to revive Kanon, Makoto's sister - instead of restoring his own life. Akari and Onari are in total disagreement, arguing that his life is just as important as hers.

With all 15 Eyecons gathered, Saionji barges his way into Daitenku Temple to the Monolith to demand the ability to take over the world. However, Takeru is taken into a giant mandala called the Great Eye that has appeared in the sky and is asked one question by a disembodied voice: "What is your wish?"

Takeru's wish to bring Makoto's sister Kanon back starts their search for the Eyecons all over again, but without Gammas to point the way, Akari and Onari are worried that they are too late to bring Takeru back to life.

Thanks to his father's soul, Takeru is still free to collect the 15 Ghost Eyecons once more. But first, he encounters the soul of Sakamoto Ryoma, who poses a challenge for Takeru before he willingly joins him.

Onari persuades Takeru to remain focused on helping Nagamasa resolve things with his father, Sachinoshin. Takeru must figure out how to resolve their differences before the Ganma attack, again.

The Fukami siblings, Makoto and Kanon, are approached by Alain and Jabel. Makoto attempts to fight Jabel but is overwhelmed, which results in Kanon being kidnapped.

Takeru decides that he will follow in his father's footsteps and figure out a way to stop the Ganma. However, the sudden appearance of several Ganma Commandos leads them to put these plans on hold.

Strange incidents of young women being attacked within a thick mist have started to occur. A woman able to make predictions about the next attacks, Miwako, appears.

The Himiko Eyecon leads Takeru to the Ganma World for a revelation. With Makoto also out of action during the continued attacks on young women, Akari and Onari step forward to try to discover the reason for the attacks.

Alain has turned Makoto into Necrom Specter and now has full control of him, calling him the "perfect friend". Takeru immediately denies this and promises to get Makoto back.

S1 • E20
Takeru tries to be friends with the Ganma who likes to paint, before learning that Kanon has been spotted alongside Alain. Worried that she is in danger, Takeru goes over to rescue her, and encounters Necrom Specter.

S1 • E21
Takeru discovers that Makoto's real body still exists in the Ganma's world, and once it disappears there, Makoto will too. To save Makoto, Takeru enlists the help of Akari, but Makoto has already gone off to settle matters his own way.

S1 • E22
Takeru starts looking for Makoto in the Ganma world. Meanwhile, Akari and Onari decide to not waste time and resume investigating Deep Connect before encountering the Katchu Ganma.

Takeru is horrified at the things he witnessed in the Gamma World, leaving him with countless unanswered questions. His thoughts are interrupted when Adel sends Javert to the human world once more to kill Alain.

S1 • E24
Knowing that Makoto's body remains in the Gamma world, Takeru intends to go to save him but is stopped by the others. After witnessing this, Kanon goes to convince Alain to help him in order to save Makoto.

S1 • E25
Akari grows suspicious of Alain's true intentions when he agrees to team up with Takeru. Meanwhile the sky turns red, resembling that of the Gamma world, causing Kanon to feel unwell.

After a conversation with Akari, Alain realises that he may not have absolute belief in his father's world. Takeru tries to find clues that can put a stop to the Plane Gamma.

S1 • E27
Alain and Takeru enter the Gamma world, in order to save Makoto. Meanwhile, Makoto wakes up from his capsule and is faced with a hard decision.

With Alain in emotional shock, Takeru tries to get him outside of the Gamma world to safety. Later, they encounter Makoto, who has to end up making a choice to save both Takeru and Alain.

Alain contemplates about what to do next, and comes to Fumi to ask for some advice. A school girl comes to the Mysterious Phenomenon Institute when she sees her late father go to the Deep Connect building.

After the unexpected passing of Fumi, Alain struggles to find the resolve to keep fighting. Later, Takeru accidentally ends up making contact with Yuki, with the memories of the day her father died being shared with him.

Alain proposes to destroy the gates that connect the Human world to the Gamma world. Meanwhile, a large proportion of the adults in the town have become children - including Shibuya's mother.

Igarashi comes to the temple and explains to Takeru, Makoto and Kanon about the events leading up to Makoto and Kanon's disappearance when they were children. Meanwhile, Shibuya searches for his mother.

The Gammaizers begin to attack Takeru, Makoto and Alain. While defending Alain, Takeru gets caught causing him to lose his hero eyecons and causing his own eyecon to get destroyed.

Thanks to Takeru's friends, he ends up reviving, despite still having the same deadline as before. Meanwhile, Akari's teacher is stuck in the dream world, with his brother asking Takeru and his friends to help save him.

Jiro insists that he won't leave the Dream World, which ends up inevitably causing the inhabitants of the Grimm Eyecon to fight amongst themselves. Meanwhile Alain and Makoto leave the dream world to defend everyone from a Gammaizer.

Honami from the idol group Harp+y4 can suddenly hear the thoughts of other people, leading her to go to the Mysterious Phenomenon Institute to seek some guidance about what to do next.

Allain struggles after being sent to a trial world by Sanzo. Meanwhile, Honomi is perceived by Igor due to her new power causing him to send a Gamma to eliminate her.

Takeru is determined that he can fight the Gammeizers without using the Mugen Eyecon. Makoto is faced with multiple duplicates of himself, causing him to start to question if he is the real Makoto.

Alia finally expresses her disapproval of Adel's actions after the death of their father. A Gammaizer attacks while a father and daughter are having an argument, managing to somehow swap their bodies.

Takeru encourages Mayu to believe in her father's innocence, after being suspected of leaking information to criminals. The truth behind the bodyswapping phenomenon is revealed.

Feeling uneasy at the fact that he is apparently losing his humanity, Takeru talks to Akari. Meanwhile n the Gamma world, Edith has decided to put a stop to Adel.

Takeru intervenes between Edith and Adel's fight, after seeing Edith struggling against his power. Edith then explains the workings of the Gamma world.
