House burglar George Dobbs returns home from three years in prison to find his best friend has moved into his house with his wife. But loving them both in different ways, he doesn't have the heart to turn either of them out.

The Home Coming

Clutching the lamp base he has made for his wife Annie George Dobbs is released from a three year sentence to find nobody to welcome him at the prison gates. He seeks out his best mate,the womanizing Stan,for a drink,only to be told that Stan has moved on. In fact he has moved in with Annie,initially for company but now they are romantically involved. Stan fears that George will have him beaten up but George rises above it,telling his friend he must move out. Stan prepares his belongings but falls downstairs. Nobody believes this version and assumes that George had Stan worked over. However Stan's injuries are such that he cannot be moved from the house.

Happy Release

Stan takes even more advantage of George's soft nature by playing sick in bed, while Annie cooks him the last of the breakfast.

Good Conduct

It's George's turn to lie, in both meanings of the word. Annie won't let either men cop a feel, in fact the only cop they feel is the long arm of the law at the door.

Two Men in My Life

The malingering men face their worst nightmare when Annie gets sick - of both of them. Left on their own, they prove that neither can make house like they can break them.

Just as George was getting used to things, more revelations come to light. This time he finds out Annie has planned a holiday to Benidorm - with Stan.

Annie has gone away to Benidorm with her friend, leaving the two boys alone. But while the cat's away, a couple of strays are sniffing out the territory.

Annie get fed up with having two men but none of the other luxuries in life. But she stops short of saying she want them to start stealing stuff again.
