The grand opening of the restaurant is very awkward for most people but the dreadful part comes when Arsenio springs his distasteful surprise. Meanwhile Salvador finds his bike with a flat tire, courtesy of Jefferson. Manrique decides not to attend the grand opening.

Rodolfo asks Mariana to marry him in front of everyone. Sandra is disappointed from the grand opening. Salvador kisses Almendra. The latest argument between Chiqui and Jacobo leads to the subject of divorce. Pamela has another commercial job that isn't in the bag as she thinks.

When Pamela can't dye her hair blonde in the salon, she buys a wig to pull of the commercial job. Sandra informs Julia that she's aware of her feelings for Fabián. Camilo supervises Mariana's first article. Almendra busts Jefferson taking the picture from her house. Chiqui leaves Alejandrita at the restaurant to spend some time with Jacobo.

Lucas arrests Cuenca and starts interrogating him regarding his intention of killing his wife. Pamela ferrets in Mariana's room and stumbles upon a peculiar photo of a man. Rodolfo takes Mariana and Camilo to the restaurant for a drink. Manrique buys Alejandrita ice cream and gives her a note for Miranda. Arcadia worries about the bank notice.

Camilo persuades Arsenio to give him an interview and the only available journalist, who could take the photos is Mariana. Miranda slips in Manrique's office and pulls out a gun on him. Mariana and Camilo are working when Rodolfo storms in to criticize her for spending so much time in the office. Lucas takes out Almendra to a fancy restaurant. Miranda is in custody. Chiqui decides to leave Jacobo.

Pamela provokes Miranda with her hints about Jacobo. Salvador visits Almendra and looses consciousnesses in the living room. Fabián finally gets Julia to talk and she asks him if he'll divorce Sandra. Jacobo is helpless with the domestic work after Chiqui's departure. Arsenio makes a scene and Arcadia slaps him. Camilo shows Rodolfo the copy of his book.

Catalina runs into Chiqui and learns about the upcoming divorce. Mariana is angry when all her university colleagues are gossiping she has a thing with Camilo and on top of that Pamela interrupts the lecture. Lucas persuades Carola to snitch on Arsenio. Jacobo throws out the maid that Chiqui send to look after him.

Miranda fascinates Diego as she changes the flat tire of his car. Pamela flirts with Camilo shamelessly. Mariana declines to have Pamela as maid of honor and Rodolfo agrees to Arcadia instead. Rodolfo impatiently awaits at the altar his bride to be and all the guests are wondering what's the delay. Camilo learns from Arcadia that Mariana is nowhere to be found and runs out to find her. Everyone gathers in Arcadia's house for the wedding party dinner. Lucas is on edge when he learns the connection Almendra has with the Gómez family, to be seen he came to the party with her. Tino and Yuberí are drunk, flirt shamelessly and threat Yulessi like a servant.

The wedding party becomes rather gloomy when Arsenio's audacity goes too far. He makes Arcadia cook his favorite dish. Lucas returns home and finds a completely different Catalina, who gives him an ultimatum. Chiqui can't understand why Julia forgave Fabián.

Arcadia checks Arsenio into a public hospital and since the conditions are terrible, she sends Raquel to the nearest pharmacy to buy medicine. Rodolfo is frightened that the police and the press are aware of Arsenio's whereabouts. Lucas refuses to be honest with Catalina, nor to leave for good.

Mariana and Camilo come to the conclusion that Rodolfo is the only person, who could have helped Arsenio escape from the hospital. Catalina wanders the streets, thinking. When Arcadia, Pamela and Miranda return home, the man hired by Arsenio delivers a dead threat. Julia sends Fabián away and he calls Sandra in Paris.

Fabián is happy to spend the day with Julia at the beach but he finds Sandra has returned. Miranda shares with Arcadia the reason for her hatred towards Arsenio. Rodolfo demands from Mariana to stop putting everything else first and not him. Pamela is amazed to find Camilo drunk at work. Catalina completely ignores Lucas and even leaves him without breakfast.

Mariana is shot and rushed to the hospital while Rodolfo holds Camilo responsible for the accident. Arcadia collects Catalina and Ulises and gives them roof over their heads. Fabián signs autographs for Sagragrio's neighbors when Lucas brings Almendra home. Sandra won't let Próspero get Fabián's clothes.

Mariana is very weak and Camilo can't keep away from her side. Rodolfo unravels a big secret. Fabián finds what's it like to leave without running water, coffee with no sugar and instead of a big bed, a couch. Manrique has dirty dreams about Miranda. Almendra attends a funeral. Lucas storms in Arcadia's house and orders Catalina to return home.

Catalina and Salvador arrive at the restaurant and she gets upset to see Lucas' lover waiting outside. Sandra tells Julia about her reconciliation with Fabián. Rodolfo throws out Arcadia and her nieces while they were visiting Mariana. Pamela gets officially the weather girl job. Chiqui and Jacobo reach some sort of a solution regarding their TV schedule.

Miranda visits Manrique, who is all beaten up and lies helpless in the hospital jail. Salvador drives Lucas to the kiosk. Rodolfo persuades Camilo to sign some papers about a money transfer. Mariana comes to with a dreadful headache and while the nurse is dozed off, discovers that the phone is disconnected. Chiqui antagonizes Jacobo with her sarcastic questions about Catalina.

Mariana gets in touch with Camilo and tells him what's going on since Rodolfo brought her to his flat. After receiving an anonymous tip off on smuggling cocaine, Lucas searches Alrcadia's restaurant. Pamela is signing autographs when Adriana attacks her for replacing her as a weather girl. Jacobo packs his things.

Lucas arrests Arcadia and Miranda on drug charges and shuts down the restaurant. Sorilla stops Cienfuegos of doing the right thing. Camilo takes Mariana away from the city to discuss their feelings. Próspero beats up Salvador for breaking Almendra's heart. Pamela finds Rodolfo in hysteria in Camilo's flat, looking for Mariana.

Following Lucas' orders, Tino locates Arcadia's nieces, except Mariana and throws them in a jail cell. Mariana and Camilo have car trouble and are unable to return to the city. Rodolfo can't focus on his work, nor on the lawsuit against his practice. Salvador won't tell Catalina why he's been beaten. Sorilla threatens Cienfuegos to keep quiet on the culprit of the planted drugs.

Lucas is under heavy criticism from Catalina and Fabián for arresting Arcadia and her nieces. Mariana and Camilo reach an agreement about their relationship and are on their way to the city. Arcadia comes to the conclusion that Cienfuegos knows the truth about the planted drugs. Tino questions Chiqui and cuts the interrogation short.

Almendra won't forgive Lucas and wants them to remain strangers. Arcadia tells Daniel her whereabouts. Chiqui informs Catalina that Alejandrita won't associate with Ulises anymore. Javier resumes to flirt with Mariana. Pamela acts like a true friend and urges Camilo to move forward and forget everyone except her. Rodolfo asks Arsenio to kill Camilo.

Camilo can't swallow that Mariana was doubting him all this time and when she comes to clear the air, he refuses to listen. Almendra is late for work because she can't find her costume. Natalia waltzes in the restaurant to take charge and Miranda strongly opposes that. Dorothea sells Lucas' flat. Jacobo signs the divorce papers but Chiqui won't.

Miranda is angry when she learns Natalia invited her, Diego and Josefina to dinner. Salvador and his colleagues get a tour around a certain hospital and he's baffled to meet the doctor in charge. Camilo's book will be published. Jacobo is stunned to find Chiqui in a terrible depression because of the divorce. Pamela starts rearranging the whole set and rewriting the script of the commercial for the cream.

Salvador fights for Lucas' life. Camilo and his fellow journalists celebrate the future publication of his book. During the dinner, Josefina has a bit much wine, Miranda snipes at Natalia and Pamela while Diego is very uncomfortable. Arcadia and Daniel have a moonlight dinner that makes her believe she's special.

Mariana sends flowers to Camilo but Pamela manages to substitute the card with her own. Miranda makes breakfast, coffee and gives aspirin to Josefina, who has hangover. Arcadia feels great after the kiss but also ashamed because Daniel was Julia's boyfriend. Lucas learns who saved his life. Jacobo finds it odd that Catalina is still trying to take care after her ex-husband.

Fabián drags the truth out of Julia regarding her relationship with Daniel. Catalina feeds Lucas like a child and even Almendra arrives to check on his condition in the hospital. Natalia realizes that if she doesn't unveil the truth soon, Pamela will never change her feelings towards Almendra. Chiqui tells Tino why she was so rude the other day. Arcadia confides in Danie the reason for leaving her home.

Pamela and Rodolfo are getting intimate in his office when an unexpected visitor busts them. Daniel urges Arcadia to face her family and tell them about relationship. Natalia informs Arsenio of her decision to tell Almendra the truth while he acts aloof. Jacobo brings Alejandrita home and she gets very upset seeing Chiqui and Tino hugging. Josefina puts on the 'I don't remember the other night' act to manipulate Miranda.

Julia suffers on more failure in her private life. Lucas is back to his old, manipulative tricks as he persuades Catalina to take him in. Pamela destroys all by herself any sort of chance to have a relationship with Camilo. Natalia settles in a new place with Arsenio's help. Mariana, anonymously makes little surprises for Camilo. Alejandrita makes Tino look like a fool.

An ugly scandal explodes when Jacobo comes to see Catalina and Lucas starts yelling, forbidding and being what he's always been - a dictator. Miranda doesn't want to go on a holiday with Diego and Josefina. Almendra suffers a great shock. Mariana ferrets in old articles about the arson and Javier tips her to talk to the police.

Camilo notices that the handwriting on the flower card and the one on the fake letter belongs to same hand. Josefina criticizes Miranda's driving and when they arrive at the sea resort, she insists they all sleep in the same room. Rodolfo plots with Sorilla on Camilo's assassination. Alejandrita is annoyed when Catalina interrupts her quality time with Jacobo.

Almendra faces her biological father and clarifies to him they'll never be a family. Fabián accompanies Sandra to Lamas class and she asks him whether he's with her out of love or obligation. Sagrario quits her job. Miranda is sunbathing while Josefina instructs Diego not to swim too far out. Jacobo blames Catalina for taking in Lucas and forgetting he's not her husband anymore. Camilo is being followed.

Arcadia is disgusted by Pamela's involvement in the scheme of destroying Camilo's reputation.

Camilo stands up in front of Rodolfo and puts a gun in his hand. Julia is hit by a car. Pamela and Almendra pose for a calendar. Miranda persuades a beach boy to hit on Josefina. Greta tells Catalina that Lucas must be on bed rest for two weeks. Mariana is looking for the folder.

Miranda goes to Almendra and they find that their attitude toward Natalia is the same. Julia is released from the hospital. Mariana learns about Arcadia and Daniel's romance. Arsenio can't understand why Natalia pulled out a gun on him.

Rodolfo is on edge after talking to the police and tells Fabián of thinking leaving the country. Arcadia and the nieces gather at the police station, wondering why Natalia tried to kill Arsenio. Almendra shows up at the police station and seizes the moment to talk to Arcadia about Sagrario loosing her job. Miranda manages to see Natalia. Carmen urges Sandra to stop focusing only on Fabián.

Catalina delivers the news about Jacobo's proposal and Ulises strongly disapproves. Lucas is angry that Rodolfo's plane flew away while Camilo is certain there will be a turn of events.

Arsenio prepares to leave the country on his private jet with Rodolfo. Greta can't live with the constant doubt about Salvador's feelings and goes to talk to Almendra. Lucas gets his job back and with his colleagues are on his way to arrest the minister. Pamela tells Miranda that Natalia won't rest until she kills Arsenio. Chiqui is baffled by Jacobo's news.

The news of the murder travels like lightning. Chiqui and Julia bump into Catalina in the waiting room of the gynecologist. It's a beautiful day for a wedding ceremony. However Lucas can't focus on work. Almendra confesses to Jamiliet, her thoughts are consumed by Natalia. Camilo receives a message from his secret admirer.

Fabián puts his life, thoughts and soul on the stage in an one act performance for Sandra.
